Another Monday here and summer has definitely arrived!

Today will be another pool day. Tomorrow, it's supposed to rain, so I think we will make a trip to a new organic grocery and go to the movies. If the weather improves, I am going to take them to the zoo later this week. Thank goodness for my laptop, so I can get some work done poolside. LOL

What do you have planned this week? I hope it's a good one.
 
Our church has VBS all week so that will pretty much be the highlight to our evenings. The days might be spent in the pool, who knows!
 
Another week in paradise. Laundry laundry laundry. The older kids will probably leave for Detroit some time this week, but I'll still have Sir Grouchy Pants, so that'll be fun with no siblings to entertain him. LOL

Last week of my current Couch to 5k program, so I'll have to figure out what to do with myself Tues, Fri and Sunday nights after this week. ;)

Oh and I have a dentist appointment tomorrow. Yay.
 
We are still in school here... until the 28th! Then they are off until Sept. 4th. We have the usual soccer games and swimming lessons. Otherwise it's work for me and then we're off for the weekend! Have a great week everyone!
 
Work for 4 days this week and then on Friday, I'm taking my dad to SW Louisiana to meet up with my mom...who is currently down there visiting with my grandmother. I can't wait to see my grandmother as she will be turning 90 next month. Other than that....just hot & steamy here so we'll hit the pool a couple of times this week after work and just try and relax.
 
VBS in the mornings for Moriah, and school in the afternoons

My parents are here again after a weekend in WI, and my Dad and Mark are working on moving the door that leads into the garage over to where it needs to be so we can tear down the wall between the kitchen and living room and move the refrigerator over and put in the rest of the cabinets and the kitchen island :) My parents leave on Tuesday after lunch to go visit my brother and his family before heading back home to MI.

Thursday, the kids and I will be going to the zoo to celebrate my nieces birthday, and Friday Mark will take a long lunch to celebrate the end of VBS

Wednesday night I have rehearsal for worship on Sunday... and I still need to plan what to do for Father's day :)
 
I'm back to my routine after having my mom here for 2 weeks. I need to settle back in the usual flow of things. We also bought new furniture and rearranged the office at home, so I need to finish moving stuff around. So excited to have a double desk for my crafts!! :) I haven't scrapped in 2 weeks - heck, I haven't even thought about it! - so it'll be nice to get back into it.
 
We finally got our swingset built, just in time for it to rain today. Thunderstorms all day today, but tomorrow should be a good swinging day. Lots of at home summer fun going on in my backyard this week!
 
Terrible weekend, so I hope this week is much better! Nothing planned going on. Hopefully, Monkey will feel well enough soon to want to go out and play after I get home from work.

Busy week . . . again. Does it ever slow down when you have kids?? PT appt. & speed scrap tomorrow, library storytime on Wednesday, Thursday having some gals over to talk about a book we're reading & then Friday I'm sure we'll have a park day w/ friends. Saturday I'm sending DH to my cousins 2.5 hours away to retrieve my Grandpa's upright piano.

aside: I think our DVD player is going after 10+ years. I put The Muppets while the A/C guy was here & it was slowing down, but not skipping - KWIM?
 
Let's see. I have to restart the 30 Day Shred routine, plus the kettlebells. My right arm has a muscle that's been bothering me (it hurts & it's weaker) for about three weeks now, but I think I can't delay working out much longer. I have an appt midweek. Both kids are in their final full week of school. My son dinged his knee badly last week and ended up taking three days from school because he had such a hard time walking without saying "ouch!" with every step. He's much better today, but still limping like a peg-leg pirate! Otherwise, school routine. Paying bills. Trying to keep my husband calm-if he wasn't already bald, he'd be pulling his hair out over lack of money.

This morning we had two very LOUD helicopters hovering over our area for 2 hours because of a breaking news story near us--a mentally challenged woman and two children were found at 8am at a train station, apparently, after having gone missing 30 miles away in Long Beach over the weekend!
 
We've got daily swim team and baseball playoffs this week. Otherwise we're just enjoying the Summer with friends.
 
Kids were back to school today so the usual school time routine this morning then took gabbi to the playgroup this morning then on to the local park to avoid the window cleaner lol

Oh... love that desk Cristina! Especially the black and all those drawers to put fun stuff! :) An empty desk is like a blank canvas to me! Makes me want to organize and put stuff in there! :)

My hubby is gone on a fishing trip all week, so it's just the boys and I. We are more apt to hang and home and do our own thing when Daddy is gone. Daddy is the social butterfly of the bunch, so other than two baseballs games on Tuesday and Wednesday, we'll be hanging at home and chilling. :) Yahoo! :)

We have rain, rain, and more rain this week. And soccer games. And football practices. But also, we just got back my furbaby from 12 days extended stay at the vet hospital. Her second ACL (knee) surgery in 10 weeks. So she's recovering with 2 knees not fully functioning, and she needs lots of TLC and I'll do therapy (range of motion, icing, and massage) on both back legs this week. But I'm so glad she's home, I missed her terribly.
 
Fun/busy week here! Trying to get some designing done (woohoo), we had baseball practice today, and then playoff games Wed and Saturday (if we win Wed.). Then that's it for the season! I'm watching a friend's kid tomorrow for a few hours & we're going to a swim day at a friend's house, Thursday is beach day! Fri is nothing day (well, the boys will probably have another practice if they win the first playoff game). So yeah. Fun/busy. :) Oh yeah and have to squeeze Father's Day card making in there somewhere!! lol
 
This week for me involves lots more painting, I have my kitchen and living room done, I'm just finishing the entry way and hallway. Wish there were more hours of the day lol
