What a wild, crazy weekend for weather, huh?!? Here in Arkansas we're already under tornado watches and seeing the devastation from Oklahoma, Kansas, and Iowa is just heart-wrenching. And the weather channel is noting that the heat is coming for y'all in the Northeast. Crazy weather!!!

So, what's the weather like for you today?
 
ohh, i've seen the terrible weather you guys have on the news, it's devestating :(

here it's been an overall nice day with sun and some wind.
Tobias got his first bike earlier this week so we've been out all day :)
 
There was a short lived scare in fayetteville... I watched the streaming news coverage of rotation just miles from my house but fortunately it never produced anything. Of course, I am not there... my sister is there watching my "kids"... and I'm at the hotel in Texas. We don't look to have much here in Texas today. So we are spending the day doing laundry and hanging out. My hubby is in a foul mood though.
 
I got stuck on highway 80 yesterday due to flooding across 4 lanes of traffic... but all and all we dodged a major bullet. The news stations were all predicting that we were going to be tornado central yesterday....
 
i'm in SE Kansas. We have family that is in Andover. Last night there was a tornado in Wichita that went right for them. They are fine. We are 20 miles from Joplin, MO., after last year's tornado i am a changed woman. you never know when it will happen. So far all storms for us are east of us. We got lucky! whew!!!
 
I'm so sorry for all the tornado scares lately! That is some pretty freaky weather!

In Utah we will have a 70ish degree day and the next day it will snow. It's trippy!
I'm just grateful for the springish days we're getting. Last year, we had a very long
winter and just sorta skipped spring all together (which was such a bummer), so we
don't complain when it snows too much, just since we've had some beautiful weather,
too.
I especially feel like we can't complain with all the scary weather in the midwest
lately. For those of you near the tornado zone, stay safe!
 
I agree, the weather has been crazy here for us so far this year also. Today it is partly cloudy with lots of really strong winds. I had to take my plants down because I was afraid they would get ruined.
 
Under tornado watches here (St. Louis area) for the next couple hours. It's right on our doorstep. We've got our basement all ready...we'll probably be spending some time down there tonight!
 
That's crazy! We have been having gorgeous weather here in Jersey. It's been in the 70s and it's supposed to get hotter tomorrow.

Two weeks ago it was mid-80s here. Then last week was rain and hail and snow. I can't remember us ever getting snow in April (not at my house, but our local mountains). Today was high 60s and it's supposed to be back up to the low 80s by next weekend.
 
So sad to hear about all the crazy weather and the toll it took on so many.

Here in Florida today it was pretty windy, but still reached mid-80s.
 
It was ok today (although extremely windy!) and a hot 84.... but we are bracing for some of those storms late tonight and tomorrow.

It's been so crazy here. We had one week that it was 90 on Monday and then frosted on Thursday. The tornadoes, high winds and storms have already started too. I think we're in for a very rough spring here in the midwest. Ugh.
 
Hot (inching near 90) and windy was our weather yesterday. It was pretty dry too, so we had a fire weather warning. I'm general, it's usually in the 80's, mildly humid and sunny most days. I'm dying for summer when I hear we get thunderstorms every afternoon!
 
Yes Shannon...every afternoon the rain comes rolling in...but it doesn't cool things off at all usually. :(
 
oh my gosh! i honestly had no idea. i've not sat down in front of the tv or computer nearly all weekend, and hadn't seen the news. :(
it's been random weather here. torrential downpour, and then sun, and then downpour again.
wonder what today will bring? :shrug
 
Scary stuff. Weather here is the same every day.88 degrees, hot and humid with a good chance of an afternoon storm.

Shannon-
I lived where you do for 7 years. You will get them everyday from about 3-3:40/4:00...it's almost like clockwork. It cools things down for a little bit. The weather there stays pretty consistent, it's just about 80 everyday year round. I love Jan/Feb...those were always my favorite months there :)
 
I hope everyone is safe with the recent weather... After having 70's this weekend, today was 50's and the wind is crazy - up to 40mph! They are talking snow showers tonight... only in Wisconsin. haha
