Does anyone burn their videos to DVD? I've been using Windows DVD maker and every now and then, the discs are burned as "data discs" even though I haven't changed the settings, and the ratio comes out wrong half the time. I end up wasting the discs.

I want to take my videos and burn them to a playable dvd. I'm not opposed to buying an inexpensive software if it's good. I'd like to have an option to set up "scene selections" so you can choose which of the videos you want to see.

Since I have HD video on my camera now, I've been doing a lot of video and my computer is NOT fast enough to play it, and YouTube takes for ever, which is why I've been trying to do the DVDs.:peekin

I don't know about software, but I believe Walgreens will put your videos or DVDs or BlueRay for you.

I've been making family videos and skit with the kids since 2004 in iMovie and before iMovie, it was ProShowGold. We've had a lot of fun with this!

I'm thinking you're not talking about that though, are you talking about taking your home videos straight from the camera to dvd? If so, this is a little bit different. Have you ever tried making dvd slideshows with video clips mixed in? It's seriously so fun! I highly recommend it!

I think Costco might have a service similar to what Trish was saying for Walgreens, too.

I don't know, but I'm right there with you. I have had bad luck. My NIkon records video, so does my kodak playsport, but I've not been able to get them on a DVD. I guess I just don't know how, but I've tried! I, like you, want to be able to put a bunch of them on dvd with scene selection.

Are you a PC or a Mac? Both of the programs I mentioned are awesome. The Mac is iMovie and the PC is ProShowGold and this is found at a website called photodex dot com. They are both so user friendly. We have had an absolute ball with it.

Here's a few videos we posted on youtube that the boys and I made of our dogs this summer (and Tana's dogs when we were dog sitting for them while they were on vacation), it was so funny, we ended up with FIVE dogs all at ONCE.
