So it's that time of year when we spring the clocks ahead an hour. (You know that was coming, right? March 11th...mark your calendars!)

Are you that early morning person who just loves the extra daylight when you wake up or are you dragging yourself out of bed muttering about it?

Personally, I mutter. For weeks. I'm not a morning person and I find losing that hour of sleep sheer torture.

I personally wish the clock would just stay the same. Although I think I wish it would shift to perm dst...I prefer afternoon/evening light to morning light.

I totally agree! I like it staying light later and I wish we just stayed on dst!

Exactly. The only reason I love DST b/c it's daylight out longer! But I hate losing that hour of sleep. Boo!

I just want to stay in bed until the sun hits about high noon, lol... I don't care if it's daylight or not, I will just close the curtains. lol Sadly, responsibility dictates otherwise for me.

I hate getting up and it's dark, but I love the evening light too... I'm hard to please. I don't like it come summer when it stays light so late and my kiddos don't want to go to bed!

I am not a morning person at all! I sleep in on most weekends anyway, so I'll just sleep later LOL! But I do like that it will be much lighter out when I leave work! :)

i hate this time of year. . . for that reason alone! i wish we could do away with daylight savings!

I love the extra light in the evening, so I'm with the folks who said they wish we could stay ON daylight savings

I workout in the morning before work, so I hate DST. In fact, I just got used to it being light at 6am for my morning workouts, and now it's going to be dark again. I hate it.

I just realized, it's THIS weekend! hOly mOly!! We had barely ANY winter... not even one good snow, barely even cold. I bet that means summer will be hotter than ever.

I love the extra daylight at the end of the day but I have such a hard time WAKING up in the dark. I just keep wanting to hit snooze until it's light enough.

I've never been a fan of DST. Thankfully we have a reprieve now, living in AZ. But when we live where it affects us? It *really* affects us, so notafan at all.

Hate, hate, hate daylight saving time. I really wish we lived somewhere that didn't observe it. The time changes both in the spring and in the fall mess me up for weeks. The spring one is harder to take, because it means we go back to waiting for the bus in the dark again for a while just when we've gotten a taste of morning light.

I initially HATE the first week because I'm sooooo tired. But I LOVE the extra daylight so it totally makes up for it! I miss the sun and this snow must go!

I am not a morning person either, but I have to be at work by 6:45 a.m. during the school year. I was literally just saying this morning when I pulled into my parking lot how excited I was that it was starting to get light out when I was going inside... then when I mentioned it to my husband he said... well.... the time changes this weekend and you're going to lose that hour again for awhile. Oh boo!

Yeah, not a fan of the loss of an hour but LOVE that fact that I can make my kids stay outside for an extra hour ;)

NAY! The spring transition is so hard for me. I don't mind the late light too much except I hate putting my kids to sleep when it's still bright out. I say let nature do it's thing without all the clock tinkering.
