Pad Patter 2/11 - Anniversaries

Yikes, LeeAndra-- that's some not-so-friendly math you got there with your ex. Good thing you found the right one!
Steve and I have been married for almost four years and we've been together for almost seven. He is just exactly the right man for me and I love him so dearly.
 
18 years this June. January 13th was the 20th anniversary of our first date :)

It would be my 10th anniversary this May with my ex if we were still married. *shudder* He and I have been divorced for 6 years, so he should be celebrating 7 years this fall with his current wife. :whistle

Yeah, it's funny to me, too, Julie, at least now.

Not so much then... well, except for the part where he was trying to tell me that he moved in with his 'business partner' of the last year a couple weeks after we split 'to save on gas money,' but there was 'absolutely nothing going on between them'... and then, whaddyaknow, they were engaged four months later!

Uh, yeeeeeeeeeeeah. :whistle

I don't have any children with him, so I don't have to have contact with him. Lucky for him and her as I would have a hard time biting my tongue abt their 'professional' relationship. :giggle

Tomorrow my dh and I celebrate 30 years.

I think we're just going to take a day trip to Disneyland tomorrow...and then plan a big trip once he's got all his strength back in his legs and can do a fair amount of walking!!
 
Whoa! Congrats Debra! That's awesome! :) DH and will be 10 years in April. We're already planning our celebration vacation and I can't wait! :)
 
My story is a little like LeeAndra's unfortunately.

I was married 13 years (he left on our anniversary), with him for 15 years. It's been 8 years since then.

Thanks!! That's a heck of a long time, isn't it? LOL

I thankfully married a good man who's been willing to put up with me for 30years. I'm a lucky girl for sure!

My hubby and I will be married 12 years next month. Mel, I seriously need to share that saying with him next time he calls me crazy. It's perfect..lol.
