can you please post and tell me if you are digital or paper?

:D I absolutely cannot tell the difference on the majority of Project Life pages I see. :luvya They look amazing!!!!

I've been recording my PL pages on my blog but I feel so torn. I don't like waiting for the pics to arrive. Boo. I am creating digital mock-ups so I can see where everything will fit, and that's at least allowing me to share as soon as the week closes. But I am a digi girl at heart. I just :beat it. I am wondering if I wouldn't be happier creating 100% digital spreads? I actually am doing that for past years, albeit a very clean and simple look. I want to get a lil' funkier with my 2012 PL album. ;) So are YOU 100% digital or paper? I wanted to do paper. I wanted to like paper. I am still not ruling it out. Maybe I will love it once my prints start arriving and I start adding to my sleeves. But man, the digital thing seems so convenient... And to make matters worse, I have been using Val's pocket 3 to create digital layouts that look like PL pages... way to confuse yourself Gina. :lol

Can you post and just link me to one of your pages and say "Digital!" or "Paper!" I don't know why I feel that this will help me but I like looking at all of the eye candy. :yesss

Digi sure is more convenient, but I went with paper because I love having the album in my hands, working on it every week, and being able to add little memorabilia. I am printing out most of my stuff using digital supplies, even though I do have the Clementine kit and use it here and there, so actually my album is more hybrid than paper (just like me :)). You can see my stuff on my blog here.

I think what you are doing (digital+paper) is A LOT of work! For me, printing at home is what makes this doable.

I am doing all digital and I love it (and I love yours too)! I can't link you up yet my other computer is down with my layouts on it but hopefully soon. I love the flexibility of digital for word art, papers, layering etc. I don't miss the memorabilia, I just take pics of stuff and I am ok with that, plus I can get things from the internet like Pinterest which is fun.

I'm doing paper and I love it! I never thought I'd say that since I'm a digi girl at heart! One thing that's helping me a lot is printing my stuff at home. I use mostly digi goodies, print right on my cards, then print them out at home! I love paper 'cause then I can add the other fun stuff like art, tickets and other memorablilia! :)

Neither! Does that help? ;) But if I were to do it I would do it all digi only because of the ease and time constraints... oh and did I mention that I've NEVER paper scrapped? So I wouldn't even have the faintest idea of where to start. But G, your pages look awesome! I couldn't tell either that your page was all digi. I say if it's easier, then go with it... we all know how busy life can get. :)

Same here! Although I have to say it is a little bit more time consuming!

I'm 100% "paper" but of course some hybrid stuff will sneak in. I printed out digi layouts to include as inserts in week 1. And I plan to use a lot of the digi PL cards that you designers have been making.

I'm a total digi-girl at heart too (never paper scrapped before I started digi) and honestly doing this the paper way has not been any more time consuming for me than digi-scrapping. Although printing at home is key for me. I could never keep up with this if I had to wait for the end of the week or later for my photos.

I haven't uploaded here because it doesn't use TLP supplies but I blogged my first week pages and process here.

I'm having a hard time telling the difference, too! I have to closely inspect the shadows before I can tell.

Thanks for the reply girls! Keep 'em coming!!! I hope *maybe* I'll get my first Persnickety order today. Then I can put stuff into the pages and see what's what. One of the main reasons I wanted to do paper was because I loved the idea of included papers/tickets/drawings/etc from each week. I have to keep telling myself that it's only week 1 1/2 (ha!) and I still have to get my flow down. ;)

I'm doing it digital...would love to try in paper BUT at the moment you don't get anything here in Germany/in Europe! And I don't want to wait till next month...or March...to start.

I'm going all Digi for this year. I'm a newbie and I just couldn't justify spending the money on something that I may or may not finish but with digital, if I don't use it for PL, I could always use it on my layouts.

Mine is a combo of Clementine and various digi kits so far. I actually had a few more hybrid type pieces in the first week but ended up changing them out for some of the cute new digital journaling cards from last week's release. It has been fun using flowers and brads and stuff.... but I guess I'm still a digi girl at heart.

Same here! I can't find anything here in Thailand as well, and I don't want to spend money on it until I am sure that I will finish it. I've never did any paper scrapping before. I started from digi and love it because there is no mess and I can always change or re-do it if I don't like the results.

One thing I like with paper is that I can add tickets and stuff to it, but actually I think we can do it in digi as well by scanning things and put it in our PL layouts. I'm planning to do that with mine.

I´m EXACTLY like Emily - digi girl at heart, never spend one thought of touching paper, but now that I´m starting PL I´m paper through and through. Mixing it up with a little hybrid and may add some digital pages from time to time (since I got 12x12 protectors too), but my PL album is all that paper stuff - I´m actually buying a whole lotta things for paper scrapbooking and already got addicted - all the beauty!!!
I´m printing my photos at home on my Selphy and love the quality of it. I know, if I would have started digital, there´d never be a chance to get the project done the whole year - I´m rarely printing my digital layouts, I know I won´t get it done with PL either!
Now seeing all my paper stuff everyday motivates me a lot to get crafty - I love it!

I am doing a 50/50 I guess. I am printing some cards and things and using physical products as well.

Right now, not much of anything! I'm just getting frustrated b/c I don't have the plastics I want/need or the grid cards to REALLY get rolling and the stuff I do have isn't quite what I need yet, although I know I'll use it eventually. My goal was 100% paper, then I realized I would hate to see that much of my handwriting so I accepted that my journaling would be all digi. THEN I saw such great digi stuff, especially for the 3x4 slots (like YOURS Gina) so I'm thinking maybe 90% paper??? But until I can actually get going, I won't know. I COULD be totally in the swing of things if I went all digi... but that wouldn't get me to play with all the paper stuff I already own and have been ignoring for so long! So I keep reading blogs and posts here and looking for ideas and inspiration to keep me motivated.

The other challenge is to decide ahead of time how I want each photo cropped before I order them. Am I going to have to pre-plan THAT much and if I decide to take the time to do a digi mock-up... why not just do it digi??

I am going to do mine digital. I have done project 365 for 3 years. This is my 4th year doing Project 365 so I am going to just continue on but do it more in a project life format. I am also starting a (project life art/journal) which is composed of 4 x 6 cards which I plan to put in photos and quotes and artwork that I do. I will add to it weekly. This will be done with both digital and paper. Since I went to digital 7 years ago I have reduced my books from 12 x 12 to 8 x 8. I like the smaller size. Plus my kids are starting their own project life art journals too. I will start updating my blog with the progress we have made in the past 2 weeks.

I'm doing both. There are soooo many digital goodies that I want to use in my albums, but I also ordered the BH Clementine core kit (paper) and then I went and ordered the digital too. :) I can't just leave digital, it's in my blood. lol

I was really planning on doing it in paper but the money that I would be required to spend just scared me off so I'm going digi and so far I LOVE all the amazing elements, wordart and brushes I've found for my project. My plan now is to get the pages printed at Persnickety and putting them in protectors so that my daughter can enjoy looking at the project as well. She's only three but she loves looking at pictures. I did get Becky Higgins Digital Project Life templates and the Turquoise Edition digital journaling cards...I just love them.
