Kids' Christmas Lists?

So what is on your children's Christmas lists this year? What are you getting? Mine is 10. I did get some shopping done today for her and my niece and nephew so I am feeling more accomplished.

She wants a lot of Monster High Stuff ...she listed a ton of items individually(much of that she will not get because the new dolls are not out yet or she does not need other versions of the same doll. These people are killing us with their marketing and coming out with different versions of the same dolls. I did get her a bed thing for one of them that is kind of like a water lava lamp for the Laguna doll to sleep in and a showcase for 3 dolls and it came with a free zebra print storage trunk for the many other dolls she has...I will pick up some doll clothes and things Monster High too) My friend already got her the Monster High Wii game too.

a larger razor scooter with bigger wheels(just got off walmart.com)

an Ipod dock/alarm clock(still looking for the perfect one)

crayola jewelry boutique

skylanders wii game(thanks to the demo lady at TRU who decided to show her how fun it was to play)

laptop(not happening)

new bike(probably waiting for bday)

I am sure her list will continue to grow...

I went to justice today and they had 40 percent off so I got a bunch of fun jewelry, journal, jewelry hanger and a mini locker for storing jewelry and stuff, charms for her charm bracelet, and neon nail polishes.

oh and I got the new Harry Potter movie on DVD today too

I haven't really started too much yet. I'm a big fan of shopping on Black Friday. However, I don't get up super early. I get up at 5:00 and usually I am early enough to get the stuff I want. Here is what I have so far...

DD6: Fullsize Lala Loopsy doll, princess nightgown
DD3: Princess nightgown
Family: Bambi, Smashed Potato Play-dough game

Hubby and I actually are sitting down tonight to figure out what we are going to be getting them. We have some ideas but need to confirm them.

We also asked the girls last night what they wanted. DD3 said she wanted "another Barbie". Okay we can do that. DD6 said she wanted a Barbie house. There is NO WAY that is happening. We looked into it last year and felt they were outrageously priced so we bought a cheaper doll house, which DD6 has LOVED. We've let her know that Santa only delivers one doll house to each house. She isn't buying that, but let me tell you that Santa is very firm on that rule! :giggle Sadly we are probably getting nothing for DD9mo since she really doesn't need any toys, and her birthday is Jan 11 so she'll be getting stuff then. We've been thinking about using her Christmas money to get her a highchair since our current one is falling apart. Is that bah humbugish or what?

I'm excited to see what else everyone is getting. I'm needing some ideas.

Here's what we've got listed so far (we haven't started shopping yet):

DD(10): iPod touch, and....hmmmm I don't know what else.
DD(8): new Columbia winter jacket with THEE cutest matching had, mitts and neck warmer (we have this already), and I don't know what else yet...
DS(5.5): iPod touch, Hot Wheels cars, Blizzard maker (he's asked for this 2 years in a row!)...

DD(8) got an iPod touch for her birthday in September, so the other two are getting theirs at Xmas. Both girls are asking for Canadian Dolls (similar to American Dolls), but I just cannot justify forking out $100 per doll. That's a little ridiculous IMO.

We are so slow in the Xmas shopping dept. I am going to keep an eye on this thread for ideas.

DH and I are going to Jamaica together for a week before Xmas, so that is our gift to each other.

Just got back from a trip to the bookstore (hot date night!) and we picked up some books for the kids. Santa always brings something to wear, something to play with, and something to read. Here are the books I picked up, I couldn't decide and ended up getting two for each! LOL
DS6 - book about snakes (he loves them) and Flat Stanley
DS4- Cars rhyming book, one the Pigeon books (we love Mo Willems)
DD1 - Pat the Bunny(nostalgic book from my childhood), and a cute lift-the-flap book

My six year old will also be getting Star Wars Legos, and my 15 mo old daughter will likely get a baby doll with stroller and maybe other accessories. Still not sure what to get the 4 yo...

I am so not ready to shop and my kids are not ones to ask for much (thanks to an adoption trip we took to China to bring our little girl home and we visited the orphanage she lived in her first 2 1/2 years) they decided they need nothing. We also sponser a daughter in Kenya that we as a family took on 2 years ago now.

DD 21-wants uggs & plastic (meaning gift cards) so she doesn't have to pay bills with it.
DD 21-in Germany want mini hand sanitizers from Bath & Body Works and a case of Reeses Peanut butter cups. Things you can't find in Germany!
DS 17-wants hardware for his laptop...it's a guy thing!
DD 13 in Kenya...$$$ for food and a few school supplies.
DD 11- Just went to Claire's this evening and she wants knee high socks, fingernail sticker, a fun hat and clothes (she is a fashonista).
DD 4- wants nothing...she doesn't even know what Christmas is. We bought her a AG Doll but I am not sure if she is ready, so we will have games, books and puzzles on hand. She loves puzzles!!!!

Thanks Kim...now reality has hit and I need to start shopping!:giggle

Uh, my DD is 7 years old and she have so much wishes...
She gonna get:
Nintendogs & Cats for Nintendo 3DS | a Playmobil House | some stuff of fairys | filly stuff | and some more...

I've started shopping for others, but not for my kids yet. The problem is they don't need anything, they are so spoiled, ugh (thanks Grandma and Auntie!). I would like for us to adopt a child like you have Fonnetta, so they can see what it really means to need something!

Technically I am done shopping...we just have one more layaway payment and stocking stuffer stuff :D

KK (12 y/o step DD) - new iPod Touch, Radio Dock for the touch, iTunes Gift Card, Dippin Dots Maker, 2 Harajuku Mini outfits from Target...so in love with that line <3

Bubba (4) - LeapPad, 2 Games (I have three on layaway but his birthday is less than a month after Christmas so one is getting put away), Cars 2 blue ray/dvd combo, a crayola crayon maker, Cars 2 play rug

Moo (2) - Fisher Price Kids Tough See Yourself Camera, LeapFrog My Own Story Time Pad, My First Disney Princess Doll, a new baby buggy and a shopping cart for her play kitchen, a Disney princess dress up chest, hungry caterpillar counting game

wow, crazy....I call my daughter Moo and my youngest son Bubba. :)

My 12 year old wants a guitar. I said, okay but you must take lessons, so that's the deal. I'm also gonna get her an IPod docking station too, a gift card to Rue21(her favorite store), and the new Harry Potter movie.

Good luck in all your shopping gals! :-)

Seriously I have the weirdest kids on earth... neither one has much on their lists... which makes it soooo hard and soooo easy at the same time:) Low key

DS-15: Is getting so hard to buy for. On his list he has DJ style headphones and money for a car. I'm getting him his own cell phone because he'll be driving on his own soon.
DD-8: What doesn't she want?? But these are a few things that she has said she wanted over and over again. Ugly Doll, I am T-Pain mic, Hair extension Barbie, vicTORIous singing doll, and Monster High stuff.

I am really having a hard time getting organized.

niece (7) iPod shuffle and some arts and crafts
nephew (15) Lids and iTunes GC's
niece (11) tough one...an iTunes GC and I'm not sure what else. She's a little past the doll stage although she has the American doll stuff, she's totally into sports and has zero fashion sense. She's a little past Justice for clothes, so I have to find something for her.
nephew (12). Dicks sporting goods and Lids GC (he's on a travel baseball team and needs a new bat and glove. I just sent him a gc last month too and I'll send him another for his birthday in January. That should help him out a lot!
niece (8) Totally into Justice and will need an iTunes GC too!

ds (28) Ugg slippers and the new Kindle Fire with case. He'll get GC's too for various things.
ds (25) Ugg slippers. No idea what else.
ds (24) Ugg slippers. No idea what else.
ds (20) Ugg slippers, cashmere scarf, and I am helping to pay for his laptop. I told him I'd pay $800....half for his birthday and half for Christmas. He was totally fine with that. He still had to pay $1000 for it, but it's his baby so he's good with not getting much else.

I better make some decisions quick on what to get them!!

If we had kids, they'd have a rotten Christmas this year cuz we are broke...
BUT... I do plan to buy for my niece Hannah and our nieces on Scott's side... we try to at least get a toy or something for them. I have a big wish for myself but my husband and I do not exchange gifts anymore.

Kim, I love the laptop on Kenzie's list... lol... it was worth a try right?
