Darn You Christmas...I'm trying to resist you...

Well at least the whole Christmas before Thanksgiving thing lol...but darn Hallmark and their emotional Christmas commercials...

I tired to find it on You Tube but I couldn't...but it's the one with the deployed solider who get the interactive Charlie Brown Christmas book from his little boy...

Gah...I have see it like 4 times and I tear up every stinkin time....
 
Saw it the other night and got to my heart! Anything with holidays and soldiers....I'm mush!
 
Me too...we have incredibly lucky that we haven't been apart for any Christmas'...we've missed Birthdays, Anniversaries and pretty much every other Holiday you can think of but Christmas he has always been home. But they still get me every time because I know others aren't so lucky :(
 
I love that commercial... I noticed yesterday we've got mostly Christmas commercials already, I'm like lordy... so I asked my husband if we can put up the tree... he said no. I figured if I started now, then we could be done by Thanksgiving weekend.
 
Anything with the soldiers and i'm a bawl bag. Then The stupid coffee commercial where Tommy comes home will start soon and I'll get all misty-eyed yet again.

I just noticed last year that they finally updated and re-shot it...but it's basically the same thing word for word...and I totally tear up at that one too.
 
Darn Hallmark and tugging at the heartstrings. Those military holiday commercials get me every time.

Ya. I'm thinking it's totally impossible to resist the heart tug. Unless you're like Ursula maybe.
 
I haven't seen the commercial, but I've seen others like it, and they hit too close to home for me. We've been apart for Christmas 3 times! I take the boys to the library every week and let them select a few books. This week, B picked the book "The Soldiers Night Before Christmas". The first time I read it to him, I couldn't even finish it. lol. I'm such a big sap.
 
I have only seen one Christmas commercial and it wasn't a heartwarming one so it just annoyed me.. I'm sure if I see the Hallmark one I'll tear all up.
