What's your favorite workout?

I love Tracy Anderson's videos but I'm looking for a new routine for this fall, what's your favorite? :run

I am on day 21 of P90X - Tony Horton. It is a 90 day workout routine, that is an hour a day - so it is very intense. And he is intense - like you would not want this workout if you have not worked out before. It's mostly weights, but there are days of plyometrics, cardio, kempo-x, etc...so it's a good mix of things. It's not for everyone, but I am excited about the results I am sure to get if I stick with it. How could I not get results if I do something for 90 days an hour a day, right?!

I'm a fan of the Slim in 6. It totally kicked my butt during weeks 1 and 2(and I had my doubts 6 weeks was going to work), but by week 5 I was sold. I love the extra Slim in Sixpack work out.
My husband does P90x and there is NO WAY I can do that! You kick booty, Amanda!

I love all of Jillian Michael's DVD's. They are great workouts. She just released a new one too, but I haven't tried it yet.

I did CrossFit for a while, and it's my favorite. I like that it's super intense but doesn't last forever. I like to feel like I've accomplished something other than walking around in circles when I exercise.

I second this. I own all of her DVDs and the newest one "Shredded in 30" is awesome. I like that her workouts are only 30 minutes long but still kick your a**.

And YES THEY DO! She helped me lose a few pounds and toned me right up! I haven't done hers in a while though b/c I joined a fitness center close to me that does Spin and Pilates, etc.... So I'm having fun with that right now. :D

Love 20 or 30 minutes workouts, is easy to me make a space for a routine everyday :yup. I'm reading about a new dance/workout called "Zumba" (sounds weird I know :giggle)

Thanks ladies! :luvya

I love Jillian Michaels workouts too. I also add in some quick pace walking and some running as well.

I run...alot. I get too bored with tapes and the music if always terrible! I do on occasion do Jillian Michael's 30 day shred, she really packs a punch in 20 minutes!

I am down 5lbs since yesterday after running the marathon. I wish I could run one every week for a month, then I'd be good. LOL

I like Jillian's 30 day shred too. I also have a sationary bike that I use a lot. I love to read while I ride.

mabel i know a lot of people here that do zumba. it's a pretty big thing around this area right now.

Yah, Zumba is in big-time around here too... It's not my gig, but I bet it's a good cardio.

Me... I'm not video work-out gal, I do my own thing in our home gym and it goes like this, which is a good 1 hour work out.

Cardio:
20 minutes on the tread-mill
10 minutes on the stepper

Tummy Toning:
2 sets of 75 crunchies
2 sets of 75 cross-over crunchies
1 set of 50 crunchies
1 set of 50 cross-over crunchies

Leg Work-out:
2 sets of 40 side-lunges
2 sets of 40 forward lunges
2 sets of 25 squats(with weights)
3 sets of 20 leg-lifts

Arm Work-out:
2 sets of 20 each of 3 different exercies.

Today my legs are sore from the lunges & squats... (No pain, no gain though...)

:-)

I love p90x if you have the time and commitment...I also love turbo jam. then I do slim in 6 and Jillian Michaels, just depend on my mood. They are all good if consistent. I can't find my jillian Michaels DVDs right now (still living half in boxes) and I am bummed...I love how much she works you in a short amount of time.
