When we were building our house, neither the plumber nor the builder could figure out how the stainless steel door panel went on the front of the dishwasher, so they just left it off.

So a couple of weeks ago DH decides he is going to try and get the door on, 3 hours later he comes huffing and puffing down to the study to tell me that I need to contact the company that sold us the dishwasher and they need to come and fit the door. Me being me, thinks it can't be that hard surely, as loads of people have these dishwashers and so I have a look. In the meantime my FIL has gotten involved too and he was saying you need to do this and that and then this, but nothing came of it. So for weeks now I have been without a panel on my dishwasher and it looks ugly.

Today I had enough of waiting so tried to do it myself, let's just say it was really simple and I had it done in about 20 minutes. I seriously don't understand why 4 men couldn't figure it out??!! All four of them made it harder than it needed to be, the instructions were in picture format and were quite easy to follow. The male brain must have to make it more difficult than it is! :dizzy

Oh and yes I rang DH at work and had to gloat :giggle

LOL That is soooo funny!! That happens to DH and me sometimes too. But usually he is the one making it easier for me, lol.

Oh yes...mine does the same thing! And gets mad if I bring common sense into the equation! LOL!

LOLOLOLOLOLOL! Way to show em' Kaye! I'd like to say my Nate is the same, but he's not. He can fix practically anything. I'm a lucky girl! :)

mine is NOT mr.fix-it. he finally doesn't bother (thank goodness).

the instructions were in picture format and were quite easy to follow.

See, I bet this is the difference - you looked at the instructions! Men and instructions don't mix! I think you should scrap this :giggle

I can totally relate Kaye! We are in the process of fixing things at our house so our house sells and I have already fixed the refrigerator door handle (the handle which has been broken for 6 months), the front door, painted the back door, replaced a door knob, re-caulked our shower, and replaced an air filter. Let's just say I have done all the fixer uppers. LOL.

Bahahahahaha! It's probably because there were instructions! They just can't read them. They are not in male language!

My DS got this Finn McMissile toy for his birthday that has all these removable parts that you can interchange.. well the spot for the super charger would come off and we had 4 men trying to figure it out... .well my SIL decided to take a crack at in, she got it off. The paint had just stuck to the sides a little... lol!

HAHAHA! That's men for ya! I'm surrounded by 3...waaaay too much testosterone surrounding my lone little estrogen! lol.

Haha! It's probably because there were instructions. My husband is pretty good about reading instructions...but most of the time when he gets stuck it's me who figures it out.

lol...oh man, that's hilarious! :) Mine also acts like mr.know-it-all but sometimes he just isn't. :)
