Sunday night has me thinking about the week ahead. I've been out of school for 2 weeks now and I feel like I've spent the entirety of that time either traveling or getting ready to travel. Not that it's a bad thing, I've had a lot of fun, but I am ready for some relaxation lol. I have to go in to work for a training on Tuesday but, other than that, I have no plans for the week! I'm hoping to sit on my deck and read the book I started and just enjoy a little downtime.

What about you? Anything that you are just really looking forward to in the new week??

I am heading out of town for a few days of relaxation at the Oregon Coast! I can't wait to walk the beach, listen to the waves from my balcony overlooking the ocean, and just have some time away from work and the mundane. I'm hoping I come back with lots of new photos to scrap!

I have so many photos from the last couple of weeks to scrap and just haven't had time to do it...yet! Hope you have the most amazing time!! Enjoy every second!

@scrapchyck That sounds heavenly!
@umyesh What is it with teens and needing to go everywhere all the time? I too operate an in-house taxiservice for needy teens.

This is the last week of school here in Norway. We have two (what do you call it in english?) seremonies of a sort to end the school year this week. We have a different school system than the US but my middle boy is graduating out of elementary school- done with year 10 now, so that's a big deal! He hopes he gets accepted into an IT school he wants to go to after summer.

Looking forward to this weekend and a long vacation after!

This is the final stint for me now workwise until my two break up for their big six week school break so it's all hands on deck!!

Trying to get super organised and front load and do as much summer work as a I can in this last bit of time prior to them breaking up in July.

This week specifically, looking forward to Sports Day for my youngest on Tuesday, they attempted it two weeks ago but alas the british weather let us down and we got rained on! She'll be doing javelin, shotput, running, long jump and other fun things like egg and spoon race and 'space hoppa's' Hubby will book a half day holiday too, she'll be excited for us both to be there.

We just got back from a conference (early, because my son did not feel up to staying in the hotel a second night after the fire alarm and evacuation down 7 flights of stairs in the early hours of the morning) and I am exhausted. I'm hoping for a very low-key week.

That sounds absolutely devine! I'm on the opposite coast right now and am having a great time but having an 8 month old baby in the house and a 20 year old nephew who works evenings and is then out until 2am isn't as restful as your trip sounds -- but still very fun.

I hope you enjoy some downtime Jan.

My teen girls are going to a church youth camp Tuesday through Friday so I’m looking forward to more quiet, less fighting, and less time driving then around!
Enjoy your quiet time. The first year my daughter went to sleep away camp I moped around the house but then following years I enjoyed the quiet and free time.

Enjoy the end of year ceremonies/celebrations. I love the big photo in your layout and the yellow and black color scheme which reminds me of yellow and black taxis in the United States. Visiting Norway is on my bucket list.

Good luck at Sports Day and I hope the weather cooperates.

Ugh -- sounds very tiring. This happened to us once and the whole next day I was so tired!

I am staying at our family's beach house for 3 weeks until the end of June. I co-own it with my sister as it used to be our Moms and has been in the family since 1985. We rent it for July and August so we can make enough money to pay for the taxes, utilities and upkeep, so we use it in June and September. My daughter and my 8 month old granddaughter are here for the whole 3 weeks as is my nephew who is 20 and is working evenings at the local homemade ice cream shop -- his 3rd year working there. My sister was here for a week and my son-in-law and husband will be here next week. The baby is running our schedule with her naps etc... and she doesn't like the beach so I'm spending less time on the beach but so enjoying time with my daughter and granddaughter. I live a 5 hour drive from them so this is the longest stretch of time we've spent together and she has really warmed up to me!

As much as I enjoy spending time with babies, I am glad I do not have one on this trip! But also glad you get to spend time with said 8 month old!

I remember when I ran a tax service! At one time I had a kid in high school, one in middle school and one in preschool! I was all over the place with a husband that traveled for work...ai yi yi! What I wouldn't give to drive 'em all around again..some of the best converstions were had in the mini van!

Oh dear...that is no the way to spend time away. I only ever had one late time fire alarm in my dorm in college...that was enough!

I'm looking forward to finding out what is wrong with our oldest cat Tigger. Some background: back in March his eyelid started to droop. He was in a drug study for arthritis and was seeing the vet at least once a month. Ran tests. The vet thought he had had a stroke, then thought it was an eyelid infection. Antibiotics didn't help. His eyelid got worse. It started to swell. We went to an ophthamologist. Ran tests again. She thought it might be a tumor. Tried a needle aspirate biopsy. Inconclusive. She said he needed an MRI or CT. Got a referral. New place wanted to run their own diagnostics. All the same tests run again. Got his CT Friday. Second biopsy but a needle punch biopsy so more invasive. Hopefully will know more this week, but regardless most likely surgery Thursday. Wish us luck because he seems to be going for the title of most expensive cat we have ever had. But he's worth it.

My parents had a beach condo that we had been using since the 80's as well. I wish we had thought of renting it or some way to have kept it. My mom ended up selling it a couple of years before she passed.
I hope you have the most amazing time!

I sure hope you are able to find out what's going on and get him taken care of!!
