Hello, Froggy Friends!

The recipe challenge has always been one of my favorite challenges here at TLP, so I’m thrilled I get the opportunity to host it for this year’s iNSD. If you've never done a recipe challenge before, the idea is simple. Use all of the "ingredients" below to create a scrapbook or art journal page.

One random layout will be drawn with a $5 scrap cash prize offered to the winner.

Post your layout in this thread. You have until Tuesday May 5 at 11am EDT to complete the challenge.

And now, the recipe!

1) PHOTO: focal photo in a circle. It can be stroked or left plain. If you want to use a frame, that can be one of your round elements listed in #5 below.
2) OPTIONAL: Up to 2 additional photos, any shape, but should be smaller than the focal photo.
3) PAPERS: Use one solid and two patterned papers.
4) PAPER PLACEMENT: At least one paper must stretch all the way across the page, horizontally or vertically. Your other papers can go wherever you like and be any size.
5) ROUND ELEMENTS: Use 7 round elements (flowers, brads, buttons, circular journal spots, flair, etc.) to decorate your page. You may repeat the same element multiple times.
6) NON-ROUND ELEMENTS: Use 5 non-round elements (journaling card, word strips, ribbon strips, staples, tape, messy threads, torn bits, etc.)
7) PAINT / SPRINKLES: Give your page a dash of paint behind your focal photo or sprinkles above it.
8) ADD A TITLE: Any size / shape / font / alpha
9) OPTIONAL: Date, journaling.

Please feel free to post any questions! I'll post my layout at the end of the challenge.

I can’t wait to see how we all interpret this recipe! Thanks for playing!

Your page should be new and made exclusively for this challenge. It should not be submitted for any other challenge/game. All who complete a page, should post the page in the gallery here at TLP, which means it needs to comply with gallery rules. Layouts must contain at least 50% TLP products. (Templates count as 15%.) Uploads must be less than 250k. List all credits; no off-site linking allowed. Please post the gallery link or linked image in this thread. Random winner will be selected from those completing the challenge by the deadline.

Posted in this thread using the Copy GALLERY BB option found on the right side of your page in your gallery.

Woo hoo! Yes, you're the first one! And your layout looks great! Thanks so much for playing in the recipe challenge!

This is great, @jagruti patel ! I love the poke balls. You've inspired me to do a LO about my son's pokemon days. He collected cards. Thanks for participating in the challenge!

@Aerobigirl do you consider an artsy (watercolor style) paper to be a solid? I could view it as a pattern, but I typically think of pattern as striped, polka dotted, or some repeating pattern. Happy to count it as either.
