Yahoo! We have a PILE of awesome book suggestions and now it's time to vote on the ones we will read together next! I'm really hoping the poll behaves this time as I remember last time some people couldn't get the poll to let them vote. If that happens again, just post your votes here or you can send me a PM if you'd prefer and I'll tally them all up myself. :agree ETA: Esther found the problem that didn't allow some people to vote and fixed it, so we should be all set there. Yippee!

It's going to be super hard for me to pick between all these great books!

The four books with the most votes will be our next picks to read together! :agree

1. Theo of Golden by Allen Levi
2. The Correspondent by Virginia Evans
3. Strangers by Belle Burden
4. A Room in Bombay by Manil Suri
5. Buckeye by Patrick Ryan
6. The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton
7. Where the Story Starts by Imogen Clark
8. Chosen Ones by Veronica Roth
9. Cursed Daughters by Oyinkan Braithwaite
10. Fresh Water for Flowers by Valérie Perrin

I'll leave voting open for two weeks, so until April 6th. :)

Hopefully will be able to get the books from the digital library in time to discuss!

@Karen - Are we supposed to be voting for 4, or do we vote for any we are interested in reading?

You can vote for up to four. If you only are interested in two, you can vote for just two. Does that help? (I always vote for four) :giggle and I usually want to vote for more. Lol.

Yes there were more than 4 I COULD have voted for - so many good options, which is why I needed the clarification. I couldn't tell if the voting would have stopped me from selecting more and submitting that. It let me click more, but then I realized I had, so I reduced.

Great list of choices, including some already on my too read list and others that were new to me and look great. I voted and plan to join you all in reading them!

Bumping! We need some more votes to help narrow the choices. :giggle There are three front runners, but there's three-way tie for the fourth book!

I just got Theo of Golden on a "skip-the-line" loan (7 day loan instead of 21 days). I was 84th in line, so I am trying to read it quickly. It is really good!

What is this skip the line stuff and how do I get that!?!? :giggle I don't think my library does that, but I'm pretty close to getting it anyway since I reserved it months ago before it got SO popular. But lucky you! Enjoy!

ETA: I could get it anytime now. Yippee! I had to go check...

I'm putting Theo of Golden last because the wait lists are pretty stinking long for this one still

Thanks for that! I was #199 in line when I reserved it a couple weeks ago. I hope that I'll be close to getting it by then.
