I'm having a tough time getting my signature to be a smaller size when I post in the Forums. It's too big. I've tried saving it for the web so the resolution is only 72. I've tried some other things to and it's still way to big when it shows up below my posts. Ideas!!! Help.

It might help to upload your signature to a host site first. I always upload mine to my blog in an unpublished post, and then use the link to post into the signature. There are lots of hosting sites out there, I just prefer to use blogger. I'm sure there is probably instructions on the site that are more precise...ANyone???

Here is an older post I found on signatures, not sure if it will help...https://the-lilypad.com/forum/threads/creating-linking-and-updating-signatures.39755/

It looks like you saved your signature size at 1300 x 500. Maybe try resizing to 600 x 231?

It's always a bit of trial and error for me, but often I start with my last siggie and copy it, removing the old and adding in the updates. Once you get it right, then you'll have your own sort of template.

Looks like I created mine at 2400 x 1200 px and resolution of 300 (so the elements come in right). Then I reduced it to resolution of 72 with a size of 576 x 288 px.

Resolution won't change the width or length of it. It changes the display quality only.
You need to save it at a smaller size from the start. I would maybe keep 800 large at maximum?

I only know for Photoshop but did you try "Save for Web" and change the image size like this?
shortcut : Ctrl Shift Alt S
