JANUARY 22: SCRAPLIFT A BOOKCOVER

Welcome to day 22 of MOC 13! :bwave :banana

Hello challenge participants! I am super excited to host this challenge!!
We've already scraplifted a lot of layouts... but today, let yourself be INSPIRED BY A BOOK COVER...
and give it your own creative twist!
Choose a book cover that speaks to you—
because of its colors, composition, typography, or story—
and translate that vibe into your scrapbook page.
Dare to play, experiment, and create your own version... digital or hybrid …

THE RULES FOR THIS CHALLENGE

- Create a layout inspired by a book cover and show us in this thread which book you chose.

- Your page must be a new page in order to count for the Month of Challenges. Your page must be posted in three places:

1. Uploaded to the TLP Gallery (not an outside hosting site).
2. Posted in your page thread you created in the MOC Layouts Folder. You should have one post per completed challenge page. If you complete all 31 challenges, your thread should contain 31 posts. Please do not comment in the participants’ page threads so we can keep them clean.
3. Posted in this thread. People can comment here if they wish.

- Your page must contain Lilypad product (pages with photos and font only do not count). Product from other stores will not be allowed for MOC; your pages must contain 100% Lilypad product (current or retired product from designers or guest designers presently selling at The Lilypad).

Please use the Copy GALLERY BB code found on the right side of the gallery when posting your pages to the MOC Layouts Folder thread and to this challenge thread.

Have fun! I can't wait to see what you create! :beat :happyhug
If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask me - @marijke

Spot reserved for questions.
- Thank you for the fun Challenge! I got a quite specific question. I have something in mind right now where the recreated book cover would be on a (big) book Element on the page as a cover with other photos and Things around That Book. Would that Match the requirements or does the whole page need to look like the Cover we chose to scraplift?
I hope I was able to explain, what I mean.
@nemi You can add other elements and photos if you want...but the book cover should definitely be the biggest part of your layout

I am a little confused. Are we to create our own book cover for a book we have made up in our mind?
@A-M you choose a cover of an existing book to scraplift

- Can it be a cook book?
@trekmom - all kind of book cover are good: cookbook, fairy tale book, coffee table book, travel guide, ...
Just don't forget that your page must contain Lilypad product (pages with photos and font only do not count).

i get being inspired by a book cover but what i dont get is the layout needs to look like a book? cause the samples have " by" etc and most look like books.... can it just be a layout inspired by book cover but not look like its a book ? hope this makes sense .

The layout doesn't have to look like a book if you don't want it to. Your layout just needs to be inspired by a book cover.
