Ho ho ho, digital scrappers!

Are you ready to add some festive cheer to our community? This holiday season, we're putting a fun twist on a classic game with our "Not So Secret Santa" game!

What is a Not So Secret Santa game?
Unlike a traditional Secret Santa where you anonymously draw a name and your identity is hidden, in our "Not So Secret Santa," the "Santa" is revealed, but the "gift" is a surprise product suggestion for the person who posted right before you! It's a wonderful way to interact, discover new products, and spread some creative joy throughout the community! Who knows you may get inspired, and even discover some new favorite products for yourself in the Lilypad store!

How to Play (The Reindeer Rules)
Here’s how you can join in the festive fun and potentially win a $3 gift card for yourself and your fellow scrapper:
  1. Find Your Recipient: Look at the post immediately above yours in this thread. That is the lucky scrapper you are "gifting" a suggestion to.
  2. Go Holiday Shopping: Head over to the Lilypad store! Think of it as window shopping with a purpose!
  3. Suggest a Product: Pick a product you think would make their holiday bright.
    • Santa's Tip: To get a feel for their style and see what makes their creative heart sing, check out their beautiful work in the scrapper’s gallery! (Click on their photo and then media to see their gallery)
    • Any product goes: It doesn't have to be a holiday product—anything from the Lilypad store would make the perfect gift!
  4. Post Your Entry:
    • Include the product imagein your post
      • (right click on the image in the store and copy the image location, click photo button above and paste it in)
    • Provide a direct link to the product in the store. (copy and paste the url at the top of your browser)
  5. Enter as Many Times as You Like: Feel free to jump in multiple times to stuff your stocking with more chances of winning!
    • One condition: Please do not post twice in a row. Please let someone else have a turn before you jump back in!
The Jolly Prizes!
The game is open now! Make sure you get your entries in before the sleigh takes off. The fun closes on Monday, November 17th at 11:59 pm EST.
All participants who make a valid entry will be entered into a random drawing. The winner of the drawing will receive a $3 gift card, AND the scrapper they "gifted/suggested" a product to will also receive a $3 gift card! Double the joy, double the fun!

Let's make this a season of fun, inspiration, and community spirit! Start gifting/suggesting those amazing products and spreading the holiday cheer! :tree

GUEST COMMUNITY POLLY

I'm your Not So Secret Santa, Kayla! Stay tuned to have sugarplums dancing in your dreams!

EDIT: Okay, I'm back! I got some really good scoop from The Big Guy Up North, and he tells me you really like a polka dot paper to use as part of a dual paper background with a nice coordinating solid, divided by some ribbon or other elements. I think you're really gonna love this find:

There's a multi-colored polka dot, a tiny heart patterned paper that mimics a polka dot and some gorgeous large polka dot papers in blue and pink. There's some nice stitching to use for that boundary between the two papers and an arrow that could give some horizontal movement for you. I hope this fits nicely in your stocking!

I am not your secret Santa Becky.

But I have chosen something from Just Jaimee that I think you'll love. Her goodies are filled with elements that will make your weekly documenting a breeze. This is one of my favourite bundles of hers. If you roll it up it will fit into your stocking.

I will not-so-secretly shop for @bellbird .... yikes I think this might be hard shopping for a Polly!

Having looked through your gallery, I see lots of layouts with multiple photos and plain backgrounds. Also great element placements. So this bundle looks like something you could use... it has templates, clean and simple style yet still lends it's to mixed media sort of layouts. Hope you like it (If you don't already have it)
