*CLOSED* Game 2: Memory Mosaic - Winner Announced

I think I liked the every Monday morning surprise and the diversity of the games and challenges. I guess I’m the kind of person that needs “assignments” to keep me motivated. These 9 weeks have been great for motivation.

I can’t choose just one thing! The challenges have been fun and challenging and the games have been fresh and exciting! Love that the designers have been able to pop in and been an active part in the forum and that so many scrappers have showed up. So fun! And nine weeks felt really long in the beginning of summer and now I sit here thinking ”where did the weeks go?”

I truly loved that it felt like we really ALL came together & not just a few brave souls. It felt like such a community that sometimes in missing during this season. I loved this all!!

I appreciated this, too, because I have often fallen away from scrapping in the summer and this kept me going and connected.

My favorite thing was probably the Sunday night anticipation. Like @amien1, I was consistently surprised that I had to wait until Monday morning here in Pacific Time Zone. What on earth were the Australians doing? I also liked the mix of games and challenges. When I had a busy day ahead of me, I could almost always finish (or start) a game while I thought about the layout challenges.

I agree with @carrie1977 , it’s been pretty exciting seeing each weeks line up of new challenges and games. Some pretty amazing creativity coming from the pollywog and design team. It was a fantastic idea to host such an event with the new store rollout. My digi-stash has grown and I'm more familiar with navigating the site. My favorite part is getting inspiration and pages created.

It's hard to pick one!!

I have troubles picking between the moment @Lynne-Marie announced about this summer event in the backstage area and what she had been cooking up with Krista @norton94, our event Queen and @Esther Wisdom
This was a revelation for me and I was so excited to get ready for a summer of fun!
But tecnnically it is before the event even starts so... lol

Like many here I am too in awe on how the community came together to play, scrap, talk for so many weeks. It's hard to think it's almost over but I sure hope we will keep having fun in the Fall too ;)

My favourite part was seeing the enthusiasm build throughout the planning stages of the event, and then even more as the weeks progressed! Inspite of a rocky transition to a new store right at our event launch, the team pulled together to find work-arounds for our games and store searches in the most creative ways imaginable! Designers and Pollies joined forces to make this event a huge success! I am so very proud of our amazing team! @Esther Wisdom gave us the freedom to run with our crazy ideas and we did!

My favourite game is the penpals! I really loved getting to know @cinderella and @EHStudios a bit more! I hope to keep up the conversations!

Now we have to come up with ideas for Summer Camp 26!!

I was a religious MOCer. Even when I wasn't great at scrapping all year, MOC was a great kick in the pants to try and catch back up. That said, I came into Summer Camp excited for a structured event and it totally delivered. On top of that, I just really, really appreciate the gallery love. I tried joining in with another site's summer event and don't receive even half the love I get here. Pages I was super proud of got no comments over there, and while comments aren't everything - it just really feels good to feel seen. For you ladies to recognize the little nuances I put into my pages to make them feel unique, I love that about this place. I was really worried at the end of last year that this place would feel less like "home," but that feeling never left. Thank you all for being my favorite community on the internet!

My favourite memory was finishing a week's worth of prompts despite the squeeze of a busy summer (not complaining) phew, and then instantly starting to wait for the next week's prompts, and watching where each challenge (the same set of prompts) would take different scrappers (who'd add their own creativity and experiences to the mix, and make it their own, and come up with something different). Loved it!

I really enjoyed this scrapping camp, because real camping isn't my thing at all!
My favorite part was being able to catch up, even when I was sooo behind, because of vacation and life in general.
I really enjoyed the Blue Scavenger Hunt and I love the layout I made with those various themed items.

I loved the Monday anticipation, each week of camp was a steady sprint as opposed to pressured to win the 100 meter dash! Everyone's creative juices flowed so beautifully and it was fun to cheer on others upon seeing their takes on the challenges! Camp really helped me get used to navigating the new site! I agree with @kendrawalter that The Lilypad has the best community ever!

Well this completely warmed my heart. I feel a little disconnected being stuck in tech land and seeing this just re-energized me. I'm so happy to hear all the love that is being shared around. That means a lot!!! This community is everything!!

I'm going to say my favorite memory was that this was offered! I missed not having MOC, but I'll go so far as to admit I preferred this set up better! Having longer time to stretch out the fun and timeframes was enjoyable! And I still feel as if I got my "moc-feeling" for the year! So thank you!

Also, I really liked this challenge and template. I don't know that I would normally gravitate towards a template like this, so it was fun to break out of my comfort zone and have this amazing result!

What an amazing event that touched everyone - in similar way, scrappy ways, memorable ways. I'm enjoying reading everyone's reply!

So glad that you feel "seen" here it truly is one of the things that makes this place feel special!!!!!!

My favorite memory of summer camp was the feeling that I used to get with MOC. The challenges made me stretch my creative boundaries at times and then I would complete the page and feel so happy with the results. I was so inspired as I looked at what my fellow campers were creating too. A huge thank you to all who worked hard to bring this event to us. I really enjoyed it.
