Getting to Know You: TLP edition

2. How long have you been at TLP and what's your connection? I've been a shopper here for years. Karah moved here and now Lauren, they've both been stuck with me for years and years. I honestly didn't know there was a forum for a really long time. I guess I haven't really known how to jump in.

3. Your own favorite LO in the TLP gallery - linked up for love! I'm days away from another birthday so I'm going with this one.

2. How long have you been at TLP and what's your connection?
I've shopped here since the beginning (it's been my favorite store) and joined up in July 2009. I was blessed to become a Polly last year, which is totally a dream come true for me!

I don't have a favorite, but I love seeing this one from my brother's promotion last year. I was really glad I was taking photos and videos of the moment too. My brother said it was all a blur for him and without them he wouldn't be able to remember any of it!


4. What's the TLP product you use again and again?
Any and all of the alphas! I've always been in love with them, and then Karah's Splatters or any of her finishing touches!

5. What would make TLP a better home for you?
I adore it the way it is, but I guess a chattier forum and more gallery lovin' would be amazing! A couple things I'm going to work on today!!

I'd have to say it's this one...my latest one I think...b/c I totally love the bold background paper (and seeing my daughter swim).

4. What's the TLP product you use again and again? OH geez. Hard question. I'd have to say Sahlin Studios 'Enjoy the Moment' kit. I am a huge Disney fan and this kit can be used in so many ways with Disney photos!
5. What would make TLP a better home for you? Tlp totally rocks. I mean it's like a one stop shop for me :) Everyone is so friendly and helping. I really couldn't suggest a thing!

I followed Krista over from Scrap Matters (I hadn't heard of TLP, until then) and I got involved with the challenges and forums last December.

I use these stitching packs a ton and I also use Val's Stitching Love pack all the time, but I couldn't find it in the store. Maybe it's retired now?

Oh, I don't think it could get any better! This is the best little digi-community on the web from the peeps, to the designers, to the challenges, to the products...I love it here!!

2. How long have you been at TLP and what's your connection?
Umm, I signed up a long time ago but my photography business came before scrapping so I put scrapping on the back burner for a couple years. Now that we've moved a couple of times I let the photography business go- too much work trying to build a client base back up. My connection- way back in '07 I think- when we lived in NM, I put my 2 youngest kids into Jacque Larsen's tumbling class. When I found out she was a scrapper I was so excited! She told me about TLP which I had never heard of, and I was hooked from then on. Looking at my paypal I wonder if I am singlehandedly keeping the store in business (but don't tell my hubby LOL). I have a serious disorder manifested by my complete inability to pass up any new items created by Jacque, Kate or Kaye, but I have also been known to purchase many other items by the other amazing designers here.

Being a polly LOL- but seriously, my goal in life is to improve my scrapping to be ready for the next call. Other than that I LOVE it here. Just this month I have started doing the challenges and I don't know why I waited so long- they are fun!

I've actually been shopping here since January '10, but didn't registered until April this year. The "random" discovery of Amy's templates was what started it all :)

Oh, my - I'm so very fond of TLP as it is! I absolutely love the designers, the o' so talented girls and their galleries and not to mention the monthly challenges! :beat Just keep up the good work, ladies!

I registered back in April 2009. I can't remember what brought me here originally (I think my love for the BYOC's), but I followed Crystal & Sara back here and now I'm staying.

The look on his face and the sunbeam that I found in this collab were just too perfect not to go together! And it suits him totally!!

Aside from Sara's templates, I have been really going back to this kit lately...

I'm still technically "new-er" so I'm hoping to get to know everyone a little better. :)

this is difficult! I guess it would be Amy W's Sticky Stacks because they are so quick and easy to use.


5. What would make TLP a better home for you? I used to wish CD Muckosky would move here permanately, and she did so now I am setting up camp and staying here forever coz I love this place.
 
omgosh you guys - i remember some of these LOs when you first posted - like yours, amanda! love that you've stuck with us this long... and to all the new(er) faces - so happy you're here!

I first registered here in Nov 09 but I began stalking the shop earlier than that looking for some great Kate Hadfield´s goodies! I think I was such a annoying girl asking Kate if I could join her team that she let me in LOL. Then I applied for a call that Amy Wolff did and I was called! I also followed Sara here when she got to be a Pad designer. Oh, and I was Cori Gamon´s guest when she was here. Last December I had the great chance to be a guest Polly!! I won a contest here and that was the best prize I could get!! Recently I had to give up from my teams because I just don´t have any spare time to scrap anymore! Since I started designing and also working in a Marketing department here in my town, there´s no time left for me to scrap anymore!

I have to say alphas too!! I simply ADORE TLP´s alphas!

I love this place just the way it is! I still dream of becoming a Polly though, but I think I will never be called :giggle

Ummmm.... eveything!! The designers here are just amazing.
If I had to chose one, I think these are pretty rad.

Now I'm on Amy W's team and I was also on PixelWorks team. I don't even really check in at other forums anymore - I like this one best! :)

4. What's the TLP product you use again and again? One of the things I still use all the time is a retired product - Natali Braxton's spring alpha beads. :) And I also use these all the time! I love word strips.



5. What would make TLP a better home for you? I really love the friendly vibe and challenges here. I just need to get my mojo going again and I'd be a happy camper! :)

I like it just the way it is....for me it doesn't need any changes. This place is such a warm and kind place and full of inspiration and great ideas.

I registered in July 09, but had been shopping here before then, was super excited when they opened the forum in November of that year. Renee was always enabling me and talking about how awesome it was over here! Then, I followed Gina over here and have been privileged to CT for several designers and then in January I was super excited to become a Polly.
3. Your own favorite LO in the TLP gallery - linked up for love! had a hard time choosing, so many of my favorites are here. but I worked really hard on this one and was really happy with the outcome.

4. What's the TLP product you use again and again?
I love it any time Lili and Val collab and I have used this kit several times and looking at it again, I kinda feel like it might need be used again. I just love all the papers!

5. What would make TLP a better home for you?
I don't know, it has been lots of fun having everyone so chatty! I think it is just a really great group of designers and scrappers that hang out here--very inspiring all the time!

That cracks me up because before becoming a Polly I felt the same way! and I am SO jealous that you know Jacque IRL but don't tell her because I don't want her to think I am some crazy stalker, lol! I really think that if we were ever going to move to NM for some reason I would go out of my way to live somewhere around her. Oops, that does sound really crazy stalkery!! :whistle

I registered in 2009... I loved browsing through the gallery but I wasn`t good enough for scrapping with that GREAT stuff here. When I was guestin Holly Designs and she was guesting here, I scrapped the first time with "Lilypad-stuff" :) Since those days... my love grow with each day and now there are so many things I NEED to use / have :)

Since the dawn of time! I was on Natalie and Amy W's teams before the store opened, I remember hassling Natalie constantly for updates of when it was going go live. A month later, I was selling here. :)
