Hello everyone and welcome to Lynn's June Challenge. This month we are going use a mask and a frame to create a spillover effect on our photo. We can go about this in two ways, firstly, and most easily, with just the masked photo and a smaller frame over top. Secondly, we can add a mask to the frame layer and then remove some of the frame. By using a mask on the frame rather than the eraser tool you are able to control how much of the frame you remove much more easily. I find this works really well with action photos as well as landscape photos. You may create whatever style of page you choose and use as many photos as you wish as long as one of the photos illustrates the spillover effect.

Challenge Requirements:
  • Create a new scrapbooking page.
  • Use a minimum of 75% Lynn Grieveson Products.
  • Post your page to Lynn Grieveson's Gallery, and then come back to this thread and post a link to your layout. (Please link your thread to your gallery image as it helps us leave love on your layout and validate your project). This is the place to also tell us what number you picked and what inspired you from it.
  • Please remember to follow Gallery Guidelines and list your credits in the gallery posting.
  • No double-dipping…your layout must be created for this challenge only, no others.
  • This challenge will remain open until midnight (EST)
The Prize:
  • Lynn will be giving everyone who participates a discount coupon for her store that will give you 15% off when you spend over $8.99.
  • One random winner will get a $8 coupon for Lynn's Store
  • AND Lynn will be awarding a prize of $20 at the end of the year to a random winner from everyone who completes at least one of her challenges every month. There is a tracking thread for your participation layouts.

I love spillovers! Thanks for the challenge. I used a ridiculous number of kits for this simple page--it might be a record even for me.
