Today is International Moment of Laughter Day!!
DOL.jpg

We've been dealing with a bunch of not so fun stuff the last couple of days, so I can really use some laughter!

Have you had a good laugh today?
What's the last thing that made you really laugh out loud?

Sorry about the not so fun stuff. :-/

My daughter made me laugh today because I kept telling her “don’t touch him” (her brother) so then she started saying it back to me. Oh children…

We watch fails on YouTube regularly and those always make me laugh out loud.

The last thing that made me laugh so loud and hard that I couldn't stop, and was pretty sure my neighbors heard, was an episode of The Magic Prank Show on Netflix with magician Justin Willman. Every episode has made me laugh out loud, but the first one, just had me ROLLING! It sort of made me wonder what's wrong with me that I love watching people get pranked in such clever ways, especially when they're getting their comeuppance...these are "revenge pranks." Don't judge! LOL

Last time I laughed really hard was probably Monday during the eclipse. My cousin's husband had some pretty funny comments!

But I did chuckle today. I was on the computer and turned to look at the TV. Out of the corner of my eye I could see a nose peeking out of some blankets on the couch along with a tail. Peyton had buried herself completely underneath them and only had her nose and tail sticking out. As I chuckled, the tail started wagging which made me chuckle even more... and yes I did get a photo to scrap!

This is a timely thread because last night, we went to see Jim Gaffigan. We laughed so hard, it was ridiculous. He is one of our favorite comedians. My daughter and I saw him when she was 12 or 13. And then he came to Seattle in December of 2021, and we took Kennedy as a surprise for part of his Christmas present. Kennedy absolutely loves him. He watches his shows over and over and has listened to his audiobook (and even Gaffigan's wife's audiobook). Gaffigan did a long stretch of jokes about teenagers (he has several) which really made us all laugh because we're in the midst of the yukky teen angst at the moment :giggle Kennedy thought it was hilarious.

I spent a lot on the tickets, and at the time, I was a little sick about it, but last night, it was all worth it. Before the show started, I was in a lot of pain and not feeling very well, but I felt a lot better afterward. :)

Boo to the not so fun stuff. Sorry to hear that. :(

I can't say I've had a laugh yet today... it's Monday morning and I haven't been awake long enough yet. Lol. My youngest and I had a movie night on Saturday though and watch Happy Gilmore. That is still such a funny movie and made me laugh out loud many times! Classic!

I love Happy Gilmore!! Adam Sandler can always make me laugh! Hope you got some laughs in today, too!!

We've been having fun with Dad jokes over the past few days. My five year old granddaughter thinks some are hilarious. Her laughter was so contagious.
