We are well into April... and I was looking at things to do. What are some things coming up in your area to do for this month?

NJ has to offer some fun things to do!
A Tulip Festival - Fields and fields of Tulips!
Mac & Cheese Festival - like a bar crawl, but for Mac & Cheese, lol!
Cherry Blossom Festival - I love all the pink blooms!
Atlantic City Beer and Music Festival - fun times, though I don't like beer, lol!
NJ Horror Con and Film Festival - I am not a huge fan of horror, so not for me!
Fur Baby Food & Music Fest - to help shelters to find animals homes... plus food trucks and music!
BaconFest - I don't think I need to say more. It's at a winery too!
Kites at the Pier Festival - All the kites and everyone at the beach!
And so many specific town festivals.

Makes me excited! I'd love the tulips, cherry blossoms, kits at the Pier, and the Baconfest, lol!

There was a heck of a lot going on this past weekend and even a few days before that! The town went all out with having pre-eclipse events. I stayed home but did have family come in on Sunday to view it yesterday.

I've never been one to go to a lot of the stuff that you listed so I really don't pay attention to what is coming up in my area. And, I think everyone is tired out from everything going on this past week!

I haven't even had much time to look around at anything going on LOL but taking a little peek...
There's a Lumberjack and Ramp Festival this weekend, a couple of Spring Festivals, some car shows... I need to take a closer look and find some things to do!!

Ooh, the Cherry Blossom Festival sounds amazing!! Around here, we don't have much going on. I'm basically sandwiched between Des Moines, IA and Minneapolis - 2 hours from each, so whenever I do feel like driving a bit, we head one of those 2 directions usually! We do a lot of exploring different state parks, and we also like to hit up as many reptile shows as we can!

Just mandatory OT happening this week. boo!!! But my brother and his wife recently moved to FL (closest we have lived together in over 25 years) and we are getting together this weekend!!! Very excited about that!!!

I did not get to attend that one, though it's still going on until the 14th! I'm so busy this weekend, it's nutty!
In my hometown, we have a park full of them, so I can enjoy them there...

And it's so nice that you will be closer to your brother! Enjoy your time together!

I'm not sure what events there are around here in April. Most of the stuff in my town starts the first weekend of May with our annual Blossomtime festival. Each school district has a pagent and then those winners compete in the Blossomtime pagent, then there's a fun parade with ton of floats and all the local high school bands. It's pretty cool to watch (especially since I was in band and I love seeing them).
