I have been shopping for a new tote or backpack for work for months and I cannot settle on anything. I have a tote bag right now that I like, but it just doesn't have as many pockets as I'd like...everything ends up all in the bottom of it and it's just a mess. I have a belt bag that I use for just carrying in stores and just around town, but I need something for work things.

Do you have a tote bag or backpack that you love? I have looked at so many my eyes are crossed. I need it to be a rather good size.

I just bought a new sling bag yesterday! It's custom made, lol! I adore it! It's not huge. It holds my phone in the front pocket. There's a pocket inside that fits my keys, chapstick, and little lotion. My wallet, pen, and bullet journal fit in the big pocket. Perfect for carrying around the necessities. Oh, and one of those 1/2 cup ziplock containers with a snack fit too.

I also have a mini backpack that I bought from the same person that's Harry Potter fabric and fits my DSLR along with the stuff in the sling, and has room left over for snacks. She sews a couple different bag types. It might be worth checking instagram or etsy for something you like.

That is sooo cute!! Thanks so much for the link, I'm off to check out her stuff!!

I’ve always used Ogio backpacks because they have a million pockets for everything I don’t need lol good luck with your search!

I prefer backpacks.
As for the small things getting lost I have created pouches and supplies rolls etc to keep them in so I can find and get at them easily. It also helps if I need to swap bags for any reason (like need a more formal bag, or a larger one for a hiking trip etc)

I have one that I bought at a cute little store in my downtown area about 10 years ago. It's a Stephanie Dawn brand tote bag that I just love. It has the perfect amount of pockets inside and one extra one outside. I use it mostly for taking crochet projects on the go. I tried to find it online, but it looks like that brand doesn't exist anymore. They were quilted type bags and purse, a lot like Vera Bradley purses. It's a lot like this one that I found on Amazon: HERE
