Welcome to a new NBK Design Challenge for March 2024!
Your host today Ana Brown (Ann) . I am a CT member from the NBK CT team, guiding you on a fun challenge task to use your fabulous stash and things you may love most from your already collected NBK products.
Challenge Theme: Photorealistic Composition – (adding on the same hues and tones papers and elements of your stash)
Challenge Task:
Kickstart your digital composition journey by handpicking a beloved photograph to serve as the focal point. Next, sift through your collection, uncovering hidden gems such as papers, textures, elements, journal cards, frames, and images awaiting their moment to shine. Embrace the creative adventure as you seamlessly integrate these elements into a unified composition, ensuring the main photo takes center stage while incorporating at least four complementary components sharing similar hues and tones.
How to Participate:
Color Palette: Select any color that resonates with your creative mood. Whether it's the beautiful blues of the ocean or the warm hues of sunset, or the oranges or blacks of a moody Halloween, let your chosen color speak through the layout. You can use white and black also, you can use stamp images in black too what will be great for this challenge.
Photos: Feel free to include also photos that complement your chosen color palette and main central image, but it's not mandatory. The idea is craft a layout focusing on the beauty of your design elements around your main photography.
Techniques: Experiment with various scrapbooking techniques to enhance your layout. You can use a Saturation Layer to adjust the hues of elements ( with Image -> Adjustment -> Saturation layer in Photoshop), or experiment with blending modes, let your creativity shine!
