Yesterday was National Son's Day... and I posted a picture to social media... only after I realized in the evening, lol! I'm always late to the party, lol! Oops! I sneaked it in so It will remind me next year - at least on FB. (Love that historic memories part!)

Then I was looking for something to chat about today, and then it occurred to me that there are so many "National Days" that I don't know about. that I do know about, and all the ones in the middle. We highlight a bunch here... but then I was wondering what is everyone's favorite.

Do you have a favorite? Here is a list of them - and many days have multiple! https://www.calendarr.com/united-states/observances-2024/ or https://nationaltoday.com/

I was looking for today... and found some that made me giggle!
Cinco de Marcho
National Cheese Doodle Day
National Potty Dance Day
National Scott Day

What day do you wish there was?

PS.... you'd better wish any Scotts that you know a good day! :giggle

PSS... I looked up when National Jennifer Day is and it's May 30!! And National Jenny Day is June 5! lol!

I just learned that National Monica Day is July 18. Guess I better put it on the calendar! ;)

My favorite is National Cookie Day because of all the cookie deals that day.

Here in Sweden all days have names - and you better remember to congratulate everyone on their "name day". Having said that - everyone ALWAYS forget to congratulate me on my name day, cuz it's on Christmas Eve, and as you probably know - we celebrate Christmas on the Eve in Sweden, not on Christmas Day. No one cares about my name day then. LOL

I don't think I bother much about those days ... you know I'm The Grinch. If I won't bother celebrating the big holidays, why bother about those silly days.

Yay for July! lol! My fav month!

Ahhh.. I didn't know that, I learned something every day! I get it... but didn't put it totally together. I've never heard of name day until I looked up mine! I get it with the big holidays... too overdone. I love the Grinch! One of my fav holiday movies!

Well, I just looked it up and I missed National Judy Day on January 20th. I'll just have to hang on until December 7th and celebrate National Judith Day since that's my legal name. But going forward, I'm laying claim to both!

Right!? We can all have fun celebrating us... and telling everyone It's my DAY! :giggle

I love all the National Days and we keep a calendar at school every month for all of them. I got tickled at Sons Day because I knew there had been one not too long ago, so I went and looked it up. It seems like it started out as Sept 28 and then someone else created one on March 4. Then I found the post I made about it on Sept 28.

I know at some point there is a World Naked Gardening Day, seems like it's in May, and that one always cracks me up.

When is Becky Day?
It's national Becky day on the 21st December. (It's a ways off, but will give you time to plan!)

A Brief History of National Becky Day (not to be confused with National Rebecca Day)
Oh, National Becky Day. What a mystery you are! Despite our best efforts (using fox-like detective intuition and the power of the internet), not a lot of concrete information about the origins of National Becky Day could be found. But that's part of the charm, isn't it? It's appeal is in its vagueness and leaves plenty of room for individual interpretation.

Popularity Peaks
Our data shows that the 'Becky' buzz reached a pseudo-critical mass on December 21, 2015, prompting an outburst of celebration (Nothing says 'celebrate' like 10 mentions on the internet, right?). We're not exactly sure why 'Becky' was such a big deal on that specific day. Perhaps it's the birthday of a popular Becky, maybe Becky G or even one of the fictional Beckys in the world of television. Regardless, 'tis established. The Becky vibes were strong on this day!

How to Celebrate?
How does one celebrate National Becky Day? We recommend exploring the world from a Becky perspective - put on your pink sparkling glasses, and appreciate all things 'Becky'. Share fun-loving messages with all your friends named Becky, send a Lori Loughlin gif or watch Becky G's music videos on repeat. Go ahead, rock the Becky Vibe!
