Happy February y’all! CTM Robin here and I hope ya’ll had fun with MOC and are still able to eek out some creativity because I have a new challenge this month! This time of year is the hardest for me because the holiday season and MOC are done, and we usually don’t take vacations until school is out in May. That means I go through my old photos and relive our adventures. So just in case y’all do that too, how about we have a challenge focusing on our travel and / or adventure photos? I’d like you to document a trip / adventure with photos, maps, tickets, or any other travel-related elements you want. This trip can be real or imaginary! You can document something you’ve done, or something you’d love to do one day. How easy and fun is that? It’s hopefully a great way to stay creative while still getting excited about past and present vacations / adventures.

Now that I’ve explained the challenge, let me show you my layout using Easy Peasy {Traveler's Notebook No7} & artCrush No29:


My son needed to finish his last twenty-mile hike before his eighteenth birthday, so he picked out a great place close to home and we hit the trail – all while during a heat warning! Though the temperature was pretty brutal near the end, the stories we shared then and the memories we share now all make up for the discomfort (even the poison ivy!). To tell the story, I decided to scrap our photos, map, and the temperature at the time of the hike.

Being able to see Eve and her whole family finally was so great. I haven’t even realized to what extent I missed them all. We had fun exploring the countryside, including beautiful Hanbury Hall."
 
I'm loving these so much and am making a bucket list of places I want to explore after seeing these gorgeous pictures!

Thank you for the challenge! We went to Vadstena [small town in Sweden] for the first time in 2018, and I fell in love completely. We've been back every year since then - except that year we all want to pretend it didn't exist 2020. And we plan to go back every year to come. Hubby has even applied for jobs there a couple of times, but no luck. So far.
