Who else is catching up?

I'm ambivalent about having only 4 MOC assignments left. I'm feeling pressed for time and some of my pages are not as good as they could be because of my limited time to scrap. So I'm a little sad it's almost over -- I still LOVE MOC -- but I'm also glad to return to a lighter scrapping schedule.

I had gotten behind again because the blurred photo wasn't working for me. Nothing I was trying was good. Then the transformation challenge came up. I got a layout done but now I don't think it will qualify so I will have to do it again... but I love the layout I did! I finally got a pic for the blurry photo and got that layout done today. I like to post my layouts in date order so once I got the photo done I could also post the combine templates. Now OLW is sitting and waiting until I get a transformation layout done that fits the criteria. Not to mention 2 days were taken up by doctor's appointments that left very little time to scrap.

I’m a day behind. The transformation layout had me stumped for a while so tonight I have a little time to get started on the one word challenge.

I love most of my layouts.

I am caught up, there were certainly some that were a real challenge, but also there are some stunning layouts that I would not have created without the challenge. I love MOC, it helps get me through the unending heat of summer.

I am trying to catch up after a weeks long vacation. Who would have guessed that I would be stuck on "Connecting with Color"? Not me! I have caught up on all of the layout except that one and I can't for the life of me make this layout. I have tried multiple times but it just never works out.

Did you pick the wrong color? Might be a stupid question, but as I told on my layout, I've always said that green is my favorite color, but if I look at the stuff I buy and do, I tend to pick blue.

I have wondered. Navy Blue is my favorite color but I think about green and black. I don't know, I just can't do it.

What about a color you hate? Maybe that would help? I remember seeing something in that thread that said the connection doesn't necessarily have to be a positive connection. It seems like I always have at least one challenge that stumps me each year, but then I usually just let it be for a while and then something will come to me. Hope you get an idea!

I am SO falling behind this year - ugh! As of now I have 10 challenges to finish until Friday. I am hoping to finish but I am skeptical that I will make it.

I'm waaaay behind again, and I'm not going to be able to catch up. I spent the last four days in the hospital for aFib issues. And we're leaving on vacation on Friday and I have things to do for that, which unfortunately takes priority over scrapping. But I will get as much done as I can before I go!
I am so happy that you are feeling better my sweet friend! :bk
We´re in the same boat regarding the challenges this year but for different reasons. My teacher work and dealing with mom's sudden passing (preparing for the funeral, legal stuff, cleaning/purging etc...) really eats up most of my time right now...C'est la vie I guess.

2 pages left!! I will work on Day 30 after work today and wait until Day 31 is revealed.
Meanwhile I will work on finishing touches for the Recap template by Fiddle-Dee-Dee Designs.

OMG! My first completed MOC EVER!!! So excited!

I have done MOC every year since I discovered it and I have had a good record of completing all 31 challenges since the 1st or 2nd year. This time, I had been in a slump. We started a remodel in September, moved a daughter off to college 7 hours away and fun of all things started menopause (lol). I have hardly scrapped. Going from an average of 225 pages a year only having completed 3 or 4 since September (and all of them for my Designer that I CT for). I wasn't going to even attempt the MOC this year and the days went by in the month and I hadn't barely looked at the challenges. Then on Saturday, I decided to just dive in and maybe do 1. I mean there were 27 challenge posted at that point. Surely one would interest me to start scrapping!
I opened a new album for my June 2023 Disneyland Trip, looked through the challenges and chose to start at the beginning (of the album) and found a challenge to work with it. It felt so good to just get a page done for me! So, I chose another challenge and another page, and another and another....
So, while I doubt that I can finish all 31 pages in the time left, I am proud that I have completed 11 pages so far!
Thank you to the Designers and Pollys for the challenges and inspiration!
Here are the ones I have completed: https://the-lilypad.com/forum/galleries/users/meagan43.17549/

I realized early on I would be lagging behind and decided it wasn't worth rushing layouts and missing other deadlines. In the past, I have stressed about it in the past, but I didn't this year. It was fun visiting the gallery and loved the challenges.
