Happy National Cotton Candy Day!

We are big fans of cotton candy in my house. We even have a little cotton candy maker! My oldest just made a bunch of cotton candy to give to her friends for Christmas gifts so we had cotton candy bits floating all around our kitchen.

Have you ever had cotton candy?
If yes, what’s your favorite flavor/brand?
If no, what is the last treat you ate?

I'm a fan of cotton candy. Mostly I always have the "pink" flavor. :giggle Our work picnic each summer has several cotton candy makers around the area and when my kids get some, I always snag a piece. :agree

I've never made it myself though.

We have a pink vanilla flavor that is our favorite to make. I can never decide between pink and blue so I usually get both haha and yes I always make my kids share with me!
 
I didn't realize the pink and blue had different flavors. I love cotton candy but don't get it very often. And I only get it on the boardwalk at the beach, or at fairs where they have those industrial/commercial machines and make it fresh for you.

We have three different pink flavors in our house (bubble gum, vanilla and strawberry) so my guess is there are more flavors than colors. Now I’m curious what the fair flavors are. Our blue flavor is blue raspberry.
 
I didn't realize you were allowed to have cotton candy if you weren't at a baseball game or the circus. :lol2 I think I have grabbed some when my kids got CC but I haven't had it in years and years.
 
I think that is what is called Fairy Floss here in Australia - and we used to get some at the annual Show (like a huge Fair) when we were kids many many moons ago :agree. Didn’t really like it then and haven’t had it since.

A friend runs a cotton candy confectionary company. She has all sorts of flavor. Many times, just a little bit works, as it's so sweet! I love pink... then blue... I've got to ask for Vanilla next time! She has maple flavor, lemon, even watermelon. lol !

Those are two places I've never had cotton candy! lol I guess I need to!

Does your friend sell the flavors? I want some new ones for my daughter to make! Maple, lemon and watermelon all sound delicious!

She sells them already made. I think she has watermelon right now - she mixes them up. I can look or give you the website!

That sounds delicious! I would love to have a candy confectionary nearby or around our neighborhood.
 
Love cotton candy, my favorite flavor is "pink" and once I tasted a mint flavored, it was pretty good.

I’ve had mint from a Christmas pack and I liked it too. :)

If yes, what’s your favorite flavor/brand? Sam's club has some that I really love that comes in a varity box. They had it this past year and me and my best friend Scott went bonkers over it! They had all sorts of flavors but the Watermelon and Fruit Punch flavors were our all time favorites!

Have you ever made cotton candy? Yes while working at Walmart I one time had to make it way back in high school, it was a sticky gross mess

Fruit Punch sounds amazing!!!
 
We have a candy shop here that makes cotton candy in like 50 different flavors! I do like it but haven’t had it in years :)
