I wanted to scan some photos of my son when he was a kid, and played with cars. Went up to the cupboard where I store my photo albums. Found the one marked 1998-1999, then the next was marked 2003! Where are my photo album with photos from 2000-2003!???!!!!

How is it even possible to misplace an entire photo album? :hairpol And where on earth could I have put it?! I mean, it's not something tiny, that could disappear behind/under/between something.

Do I really have to turn my house upside down?

Anyone psychic enough to see where it is? :stirpot

Oh gosh! That would drive me crazy and I'd have to tear the house apart until I found it. Any chance your son borrowed it? Might be worth asking before you tear the house apart. Lol. Also, check and make sure they aren't out of order? I sure hope you're able to find it without having to look too much! Good luck!

My rule of thumb when I can't find something is to look in three places. If I don't find it I stop looking because I've learned at that point I won't find it and I'll only cause myself anxiety. Invariably I'll find the next time I'm looking for something else.

Today I've misplaced my pup's original rabies certificate that I put in a "safe place" b/c I need to send it in to get her 2024 dog tags. Can't find the original, but luckily I did make a copy and staple it to the vet bill ...

Good luck!

So sorry you misplaced it.. I am not Catholic, but when I misplace things even though I am not Catholic, I pray to St. Anthony, the finder of lost things and he usually comes up with it.

They always say it is in the last place you look... so why can't we foresee the last place and just go and get it?!

Good luck Eva, and as Marijke suggested, perhaps ask your son in case he borrowed it.. also double check the albums again, in case it was put away not in the right order. Best of luck!

This is sort of what I'm doing, but I ask the ghosts to bring it back. LOL

Oh, and I've asked both hubby and son ( he still lives at home) and nope of them have any idea where it is.

@cfile, I was going to suggest St. Anthony (for Catholics, he is the patron saint of lost items, and my mother used to swear by his intercessions!).

@tanteva, this would be driving me nuts as well. Can you remember the last time you took any of those albums out of their cupboard?

I absolutely HATE misplacing things, I can really empathize! I am pretty careful and usually really good at remembering where I put things, so when something goes missing or I forget where I put it, it really drives me crazy! I hope it turns up soon.
