Are you looking forward to the change in seasons?? Here we are getting ready to head in to Fall, and I'll be honest, it doesn't make me super happy lol. I am a summer gal! The only thing that has brought me any joy at all is getting out all my Halloween decorations. My family keeps telling me it's too early, and I just say that Sept and Oct are for Halloween. It keeps me from dwelling on the fact that it's going to get cooler outside. I don't really decorate for Fall at all. I'm all in for Halloween and Christmas, though.

Are you looking forward to the change in seasons, wherever you are?
Do you decorate for the seasons?

Our neighbor is getting their Halloween display up, so nope! Not too early!

I love fall. It's my favorite. So I'm excited for the changing seasons. I don't decorate for the seasons. Heck, I don't decorate for the holidays most of the time! But Hallowe'en? I'm all in there!

I'm with you preferring summer. I especially dislike the decreasing daylight.
I don't decorate outside, but when I went for my morning walk on September 1 I noticed two of my neighbors had decorated their houses. And quite a lot, with huge spider webs and inflatables and purple lights and other stuff.

I love fall and cooler weather so I’m looking forward to that, especially because then I don’t have to mow the lawn any more. I already bought myself some super cute skeleton earrings but I don’t dare wear them out and about until October. I decorate for Halloween and Christmas inside my house but that’s all.

It's werid cause last few weeks it's been miserable here in the high 90s andn100s even and now.. like 70s and later this week 60s..lol..fall is on its way. While I'm ready for leggings boots and sweaters .. I'll miss the pool and sunshine. .but I love me hot cocoa.. apple cider and the colors of fall... Wisconsin is stunning in fall with the falling leaves.. or as neelix calls it a buffet of crunchy goodness just for him

I love fall. I love the colors of fall. I just don't like what comes after it! October is also my birthday month so that's another reason I'm partial to it! Granted, I love the temps of summer better than fall but the colors of everything are so beautiful during the fall. I love the colors so much that I did an album last year called October Daily. I went out and took photos documenting the change in colors the whole month. Going to do it again this year (although I might miss a couple of days due to surgery). Actually, I've already started taking the photos of a tree in my neighbor's yard and the one tree in my yard along with the wheat grass along my patio fence. I like to document the changes.

I don't decorate at all.

I'm torn this year on if I want summer to end. I'm usually ready for the cooler weather and colorful fall leaves, but this year I want to hang on to summer. Maybe because this is Megan's last year of high school, and I know she'll be moving off to college next fall.

I used to decorate for all the seasons, but as I've gotten older I just don't want to mess with putting them up, taking them down and storing them. I've really pared down our seasonal displays the past few years to keep it simple yet festive. :tree

I don't decorate for any of the seasons except Christmas. I used to have a few fall decorations, but I kept forgetting to put them out. :giggle

I always love summer, but I also really enjoy fall weather and getting to wear hoodies again. The only thing I don't love about fall is that it gets darker so much earlier.

I look forward to cooler nights, but I dislike the shorter days, and I am NOT looking forward to winter and snow ... we've been light on snow the last couple of years, so we're due to get slammed at some point.

I live in the Phoenix area where we've now broken all heat records this year with 54 days (including the Saturday two days ago) hitting at least 110. I can't adequately express how much I'm looking forward to cooler weather. I always look forward to fall (which really hits in mid-October) and dread late Spring.

I love fall here in Florida, when the humidity starts to dissipate some. The temperature dips as well, but it's in winter at the beginning months of the year that we have most of our super cold weather (for here anyway). We don't really have any changing leaves here. They are there and then they are on the ground. LOL

I like Halloween for the candy. My decorating style is more dark and moody, but not creepy or scary. I actually end up squishing the two holidays together.

This year, I'm still uncertain about our moving schedule, so right now I won't be decorating for any of the upcoming holidays. I hate to go to all the trouble and then have to pack it up.

As I've gotten older I like all the seasons and always look forward to change and the next one coming. I especially love fall colors and October has the best golden light!

Glad I'm not the only one haha
I enjoy fall more now that we had a bunch of trees cut and I don't deal with quite as many leaves lol

Yes, I hate the decreasing daylight :(
I'm so glad I'm not the only one already decorating lol

Yes to less lawn mowing lol
I used to do some pretty elaborate Halloween outside...then kids and their activities and lack of time... but now, with kids doing their own things I'm finding a little time again :)

I do enjoy some fall things, and now I'm craving some apple cider lol
It's still been 90ish here during the day, but I do notice the nights getting a little cooler.
Dogs and leaves are fun!!

My birthday is 3 days after Halloween, so maybe that's why it's always been a favorite of mine :)
I agree that the colors are beautiful. I need to take more photos this year. I've slacked off the last few! I bet that October Daily album is gorgeous!

Yes, I remember feeling that way last year going in to Chance's senior year. It's amazing how quickly it goes by!!

I used to have some fall stuff as well, but I always forgot. I think I finally just got rid of it all awhile back.
I do love getting in to the cozies again, but yeah, I really hate that early darkness!
