Happy Wednesday friends!
(Are you wearing pink? If you get that movie reference, we can definitely be besties!) :happyhug

What's your go to journaling font? In my earlier days, I used a lot of handwriting style fonts. Like the Pea fonts from Kevin & Amanda/Fonts for Peas. I have SO many of those pea fonts. My cousin even submitted hers and it got made into a font.
Now - I tend to go for sans serif fonts, like Poppins or Century Gothic.

What about you? Do you use the same one, or do you switch it up?

I have my favourites too.
Another Typewriter is my go to for typewriter looks.
I use DJB Smarty pants or Pinky Swear as my fave hand written ones.

I use Yanks Hand about 90% of the time. Sometimes I will use Problem Secretary or Vintage Typewriter. I just used KG Always a Good Time for my DYD album. Calibri is another one I will use at times.

I have become a fan of not having too many fonts on my computer as it makes my choices a lot easier.

I really should not be in this thread....I see lots of enabling in my future. rofl

I love fonts. I don't have any faves for journaling I just go with the mood of the page or whatever I think looks good. I do love a good Typewriter and some fun handwriting. But I'm open to all of them. rofl

I do love a good typewriter font!

Oooh. Just looked at those. I like the Yanks hand, definitely a good one. I have a LOT of KG fonts. She has so many great ones.

I have a folder of fonts in my Dropbox, I'm up to 684. It's a definite problem. I'm a fontaholic!

My favorite go to is the veteran typewriter font or of course Pea Kari (for well the ob. reason.. duh...)
but ... I am also a fan of the font tomatoes and the problem secretary font and a few other type writer like fonts. I have a huge collection of heather's fonts as well as I use to be on her team. (I miss her so much!) .. The Becca and Beckys are a few of my go to Heather fonts. I am a font hoarder. Yeah I probably have WAY more than I use

I had my printing made into a font over 10 years ago. I had a period of time that I was printing different than I normally did and that's what I did for that font. Needless to say it no longer looks like my printing in more ways than one! Wendy of WM2 made it. Yanks Hand is very close to my printing style of 20+ years ago. I think that's why I fell in love with it.

I had my own printing made into a font by Amber LaBau back when she was Stolen Moments Designs at Scrapmatters. But my own handwriting has never been my favorite. :lol2

I tend to stick with one for most of my pages for a year or two. For the last year it has been KG Love Somebody. All my favorites have been fonts that appear handwritten.

My go to don’t is 1942 Typewriter. I love how grungy it looks which means I can blend it into any paper and it looks natural. I wish I wrote nearly enough to have my handwriting turned into a font. I’d love for my kids to have a piece of it - but it doesn’t help if they can’t read what it says hehe.

I just recently switched over to an iMac and I can't get two of my favorite fonts to load... I get the question marks and I'm not sure how to fix it. Decker and Kartika are my favorites and I just can't get them on my Mac...

for me it depends on the style of the page i'm doing, but i often tend toward handwriting style fonts. I would love to have mine made into a font, just so it could look like i actually wrote the journaling on my pages. I think that would be cool!

I’ve used VTPortable Remington (or is it Remington portable?) for many, many years, but have pretty much adopted it as my almost always journaling font for about the last 3 or 4 years. On layouts that I’ve had printed, many of the handwriting fonts I used in the past are so hard to read. I like to tell stories and I want them to be easily read. I have tons of fonts, but reserve those mostly for titles or creating a little word art.

I use Special Elite - since 2015, lol, and my own handwriting that Wendy made into a font years ago. Both are pretty legible. 99% of my layouts are now Special Elite.

I used to agonize over the font and spend SO much time looking for the perfect one. I decided I'm wasting time, and chose Special Elite as my go to.... Occasionally, I do need a title font, but I give myself a time limit, lol! And I look at old pages to see what the font was before I search for a new one.

I used to try to use a new handwritten font on every layout, but now I almost always go with "The Skinniness" or the "Mary Kate" by Heather Joyce. They are my favorites. Otherwise I usually go to the "Traveling Typewriter" one from dafont.

Okay... just checked out Tomatoes and it's way pretty! Might need to add that one to my folder. And I love Pea Kari!

KG fonts are the best! I love all her fonts!

I don't love my handwriting enough to turn it in to a font. I'm not sure my kids could read mine! I do a kind of combo print/cursive. ;)

That's a bummer. Decker seems really close to Century Gothic, maybe try that one?
