I ice skated as a teen. I coached my daughter's cheer squad for a number of years. I'm not a big sports fan, but I loved watching my kids and GK play sports ... basketball, football, soccer, lacrosse.

I LOVE SPORTS!!! Did I say that loudly enough?!?!? :D In high school I played basketball (my absolute favorite!), volleyball, ran and jumped in track and was a cheerleader. My team even won the high school state basketball tournament when I was a junior in high school and I made the all state basketball tournament team so that was pretty cool! I was also a cheerleader in college and my husband played baseball in college. Right now, I still like to run and play volleyball and basketball.

Most of my evenings and weekends are centered around sports. My twin boys play basketball and baseball and my daughter plays basketball, softball, volleyball, dances and cheers. One of my boys wants to play baseball in college, the other hopes to play basketball in college and my daughter hopes to play softball in college. They have great role models as I have one nephew who currently plays division 1 basketball and one nephew who currently plays division 2 basketball!

I didn't play soccer growing up and my kids have never played. I don't know how confusing it is, but I just don't know anything about it!!

I like some sports. I have always been into more of the arts than sports. I hate to watch golf...BORING!! My favorite sport to watch is basketball! In fact I am leaving shortly to go and watch my daughter's college basketball game! I played tennis when I was in high school but mostly was involved in dance/theatre/music. I played volleyball, baseball and basketball for fun with friends here and there.
Both of my kids danced from the ages of 2 to 18. My son played baseball and basketball only for a few years when he was younger. My son did Kung Fu for a little too. My daughter did softball, basketball, boxing, cheerleading and gymnastics. Most of all I loved watching them in dance and musicals more than the sports! But if I had to pick one sport...it would be basketball!

I like to hike too. Sadly my husband and kids do not so I rarely go.

I'm sorry you don't get to go hiking much. I have a friend I walk with every Saturday morning, and half our walks are hikes in the woods.

Let's plan a TLP hiking trip! :D

We aren't huge sports watchers over here. Sometimes we'll watch football, that's about it.

My kids don't play any organized sports. They have in the past. Volleyball was always fun to watch.
My son does do archery, I guess that counts!

I enjoy playing sports just for fun...volleyball, football, basketball, tennis.
I love that you play football! I played football all the time during elementary school recess. I also wanted to be a kicker but never tried out for any football teams.

I don't play sports unless you call chasing a grandson around a sport and I play Little Tikes Basketball! Seriously I like watching football.

I am definitely not very coordinated or sportsy. When asked to play sports I say "I have other talents" :rofl I did run track in high school and joked even then about the only sport I could do is run in a circle. :giggle I did play softball with some coworkers many years ago for a few years. I wasn't great at that either, but it was fun for socializing and the cheeseburgers afterwards.

I don't mind watching sports with my hubby, but I never turn any on myself. I used to love watching hockey when I was in college and our team was really good. We had a group of friends that went to every game.
That’s fun you went to every hockey game in college! One of my favorite college outings with my roommates was going to a basketball game together.

Way too uncoordinated/unfit to play anything now days. When I was younger I was in my high school curling team, ten pin bowling league and pétanque team. Hoping to get back into pétanque if possible once I’ve relocated for recreational reasons.

I follow a local basketball league (Australian/New Zealand) often and rugby occasionally depending on the teams.

Cricket would be the most boring and confusing game to me.
I’d never heard of pétanque until your post so I had to look it up. It sounds interesting!

I am not too athletic at all. Although I did swim in school and was a quite good swimmer. I was also on the color guard.

As for sports I like to watch.. not many. I do watch my kids play... otherwise I enjoy figure staking .. gymnastics and swimming

Sports I don't understand .. ones I'm not around like cricket or polo......
That’s fun you did swimming and color guard Kari. My older sister did color guard too so I went to a lot of her competitions.

Ice skating is so hard for me! I’m always impressed whenever I watch it because it’s hard for me to even stand on skates!

I knew your kids were sporty but I didn’t know you and your husband were too; so fun!

I played a few years of soccer and my girls play now too but I still don’t understand all the rules…

I love that you’re both sporty and artsy. I cannot dance or act to save my life. I took one theater class in high school and hated it! Never again.

Little Tikes basketball is the best! ;) I grew up going to college football games so I prefer being at football games instead of watching them on TV (probably because I like to people watch haha).

I don't play anymore, but we used to have a recreational volleyball game with the people at work and we rented a gym to play during the winter months, and played beach volleyball during the summer months.

I love to watch my youngest who plays high school football (kicker, punter, and slotback) and basketball. We just watched the provincial semi-finals on Saturday wearing full winter gear (winter jacket, snow pants, warm gloves and wool hat, plus heavy blanket to cover the lap and stadium cushions to keep warm!). The facility had to shovel the snow off the field and the stands so the kids could play and the parents could watch. I wish we started football earlier in the year so that the kids aren't playing in -10C weather. It is so hard on them.

As for the most confusing, I would have to say cricket!

That football game sounds sooooo cold Heather! I always complain about the weather during my girls’ soccer seasons but I guess I should be grateful it hasn’t snowed on us yet!

I like to hike, bike, dance, qigong, yoga and walk
As for sports I like to watch olympic games, except boxing and contact sports, not fan of violence neither as sport, but my favs, are everything that includes horses, music and of course figure skiing.
Curling is very confusing to me.

I don’t like the contact sports either…they get gross.
