I'm in need of some ideas! My older kids' step-mom and I are hosting a baby shower for my son and daughter-in-law in two weeks and I'm in charge of food. I need it to be things I can either make fairly quickly and easily or things I can order from a deli lol. I will be working every day until then and we will be out of town a couple of days next weekend.

Hit me with any ideas you have, please :)

Pinterest darling. J/K - or am I??? That's my go-to place to get ideas. You know, though, you'll go down the rabbit hole. :lol:lol:lol

Something cute I’ve seen is a watermelon cut out like a baby carriage but I imagine that would take a lot of time.

I like finger foods so you don’t have to worry about utensils: fruit trays, veggie trays, croissant/sub sandwiches and cookies/cupcakes. Or even a cracker tray so people can choose if they want plain crackers or meat or cheese? I feel like green salads are too hard to eat with plastic utensils. If you do grapes I’d stem them or at least chop the stems into reasonable sizes. Cupcakes are fun because you can put cute themed toppers on them but I also think they’re messy.

I had a sandwich tray in my mind and found some cute cupcake toppers on Amazon. I'm thinking I may go that route. Fruit and veggie trays are a great idea as well!

You will have a million little details to handle so I think ordering something like a sandwich tray is the way to go!
