Since my human kids have grown and left the nest, I take an embarrassing number of pictures of my fur kids. Please tell me I'm not the only one and share some photos of (and something about) your pets! Or if you aren't in a linking mood, just share something about your current menagerie.

Here are Murphy (the light one) and Tori (the dark one) - like their souls :D. Growling is Tori's love language -- she will growl at you to request attention. Their obsessive love of car rides is a mystery to me since Tori huddles on the floor the whole time and Murphy mostly lies down and goes to sleep!

Hello humans, I am Neelix. I am a 6 year old German Shepherd, Golden Retriever and Border Collie service dog from Wisconsin. I am a very active dog who loves belly rubs, runs at the dog park, chasing my poochie friends, and being around my favorite humans. I am attracted to Blue Care Bears and I love to chew their eye balls off and violte them when mom isn't looking. (hahaha). I love going places but I am not a good car rider at all, I whine and whimper like crazy. I shed a crap load a lot (at least 3 or 4 chihuahua worth a day!)..
I like to build giant dog nest beds of blankets and snuggle in the middle.. and hog the bed (I don't like to share... with my human.. )
I wake my human up daily by chomping her toes or ripping the blankets off her. I don't tell time well.. so sometimes it is earlier than she likes..
I am quite well behaved and often get comments in public on how handsome I am . That makes me happy and makes me smile. Cause I know i am cute.
I have been recently watching House of Dragon with my humans. This has me thinking that I would love to be a dragon. How awesome it would be to fly over a farm and have a giant platter of fresh steak! I do love me some steak! yeah.. that would be amazing.
My biggest pet peeve is when my mom tricks me. She is evil sometimes and puts a trail of tasty bacon treats down to the bathroom.. sometimes even in the bathtub. Than when I hop in to eat them. she does something out of a horror movie and turns on the wet stuff and washes all my stink off. That is the worst ever. It is just plain mean.
Well I hope that helps you all get to know me a little better. :)

Our dog, Daisy, is 6 and we adopted a cat, Sam, about a year ago. Daisy always liked Sam, but Sam didn't want anything to do with her. They're getting to be friends, finally.

Here's Sam, sleeping, which he does a lot of:

Here's a picture of both them on the bed. They don't get much closer than this, but Sam "likes" Daisy now.

There is nothing better than an old dog. My Murphy turned 12 last month and he is sweet and mellow and nothing phases him anymore.

I catsat a kitty that age (and ALSO named Oliver) for a few weeks and I don't know if they are all nuts at that age but that kitty was a total psycho. Would get zoomies and climb my body -- I think I still have scars! The only other cat I've had, we got as an adult and he was a total sweetheart. :D

I love this! My dog doesn't have much of a prey drive and was always friends with our guinea pigs! I love seeing cats and dogs being friends.

@dawnmarch

I've always taken a ridiculous amount of photos of our cat Holly Belle, and in the past two years that we've had Piper, I've taken so many more! Daniel is my only child left at home now, and he's not overly enthusiastic about having his photo taken. Olivia is still great about me taking photos.

Anyway, both Holly Belle and Piper are the same age - ten years old. We've had Holly Belle since she was just a few weeks old. We took Piper on as a foster while my SIL was sick, and then adopted her after my SIL's passing.

Holly Belle sleeps a lot. She's very vocal when she wants fresh, cold filtered water from the fridge. Her food bowl also needs to be filled to the top.

Piper is a mess. She's feisty and super duper affectionate. She loves to be held, which works out for me as I rest quite a bit with my back. Occasionally, I will get both pets with me, but Piper is jealous, so often she will run Holly Belle off.

These are the two most recent photos of our furbabies.

AWE! THE BEST POST!!! I still have kids at home- but have more pics of the dogs than them lately! ;) ;) We have a puppy so he's star of the show lately! Most people are sick of seeing my pets prolly- esp those that follow any of my social media! ;) https://www.instagram.com/amiew1/

Nelly Cheezit is a 2 yr old English Bulldog. She weighs 62lbs & is a literal bull in a china shop. She thinks she's a wee lil lap dog & loves to snuggle. She goes nuts for any balls (fetches, but never gives them back), is highly food motivated & has to sleep in the same room as her people (which means we have beds spread throughout our whole house!) She LOVES the car- has learned to hit the button to roll down the windows, HATES the windshield wipers and loves to lay on the driveway in the sun. She was really depressed (like wouldn't eat & only slept all day) when we lost our older bulldog last March. Since we've had Cooper, she is back to her silly, happy self. She just needs a buddy to play with & to love.

Cooper Jack is a 4 month old French Bulldog. He was a whopping 14 lbs last week at the vet, about double from when we brought him home in August. He is in the terrible two stage of puppyhood- chewed up a corner of our wall, escapes the gate we put up on the stairs & being generally naughty! He has learned to sit, shake, rings the bell by the door to go outside to potty (no accidents in the last couple weeks!) and is working on the DOWN command & walking nice on a leash. He is sleeping mostly through the night but sometimes needs up around 4:30 to go potty. He LOVES to torment his big sis Nelly by nipping at her neck & face but she's where he also loves to curl up & take a nap. Sticks are life- he loves a good stick to play with then destroy- especially whatever stick Nelly has. He's super playful & fun, but loves to snuggle on a lap to sleep. While we will always have a Lucy sized hole in our hearts- Cooper has definitely made his imprint!

Either it's the name or the age lol. My Oliver is a total psycho as well. He will come flying through the air out of nowhere and attach himself to your side, walks on the tops of doors, and loves to grab the poor dog around the leg when he walks by. I lost my 11 year old kitty last year and he was such a sweetheart. My daughter decided that a kitten would make a great Mother's Day present this past May.

Lucas is a senior dog (now 13 years old). We got him as a rescue when he was a mere 9 weeks old, and he has been a member of our family ever since. Friend, guardian, faithful companion.

That’s hysterical! I’ve never known a pet with any opinion on windshield wipers. .

And I’ve always wanted a French bulldog. They’re sooooo cute!

@dawnmarch BTW, those are both photos from my phone camera . . . since we were talking about that in another thread. It's my Google Pixel 3XL and both of those were taken in portrait mode. :)
