Today is national beer lovers day! Not a holiday I would participate in because I do not like beer. It tastes bitter to me and I can never get over that taste.

Do you like beer? If so what's your favorite?

I have never tried beer but my guess is I wouldn’t like it.

I am not a beer fan... or wine, lol! I like the hard stuff, haha! I just couldn't get past the flavors of beer or wine. I wish I did, just seems so carefree to have whatever.

I do like beer, but generally will get wine over beer. We have a local brewery that makes a Kolsch beer that is my favorite because it is not bitter at all. My hubby really loves IPAs but those are so nasty bitter that I can't stand them. They smell good, but taste like NOPE! :giggle

Not a fan of beer or wine, I rarely drink alcohol either. Like Jenn, I sometimes wish I liked wine ... going to a winery and doing a tasting with friends would be fun.

Ha! Taste like NOPE! I hate it when that happens...ya think something is going to taste good but it doesn't.

It is fun! And typically wine tasting is very small amounts. In Missouri some of the wineries get together to host an event...usually will involve chocolate or meats or some kind of food. Tickets are for wine tasting and eating. Such fun and yummy. I am a fan of dry red wines above all others. I will say, it is an acquired taste, at least for me. I enjoy explore the "exotic" flavors of wine that can sometimes be described as mineral, charcoal, dust...ha! So I can totally get why many don't like the taste of wine (with descriptions like charcoal and dust..rofl!).

When that happens, I usually tag along, and bring an airplane bottle or two of my spirit of choice to add to a soda or whatever. My friends split the wine, lol!

I was never fond of beer, preferred vodka or sloe gin in my drinking days (which were a long time ago!). Never been a wine drinker either. Although in my late 20's I dated a guy that spent every weekend on the softball field at tournaments. Coolers were loaded with beer for in between games. That was the only time I drank beer and it had to be ice cold and Michelob Lite. Thankfully that phase only lasted 1 summer.

I do like the taste of beer. I don't drink it very often because it really fills me up. If I drink beer, my choice is Coor's Light.

Mmmmmmm Beer! ;) I really like hefeweizens, wheat, pales & blondes. I also like some of the seltzer's that are popular right now. One of our local breweries makes a great huckleberry seltzer! I am not a fan of the super hoppy IPA's- but there are a couple paired with fruit (orange or grapefruit) that are drinkable! We tend to drink more (alcohol in general) in the summer when we are at the lake, but only occasionally with dinner at home or out at a restaurant.

I do like beer. It's usually my drink of choice when I have one. I'm a simple gal and Bud Light Lime is my fav.
