Senior Citizen | Pad Patter 8.21

they keep increasing the age here in the UK, by the time I get there I'll be at least 70 for somethings, possibly 80 for others. If it even exists anymore ..
I take the discounts I can. At the moment I take the carer discounts when going places with my special/medical needs teenagers.

Random fact for everyone: You can sign up for AARP and use their discounts at any age. There is no minimum age to join. (Is your mind blown yet?!?) Some of the offerings are more age specific like Medicare plans. But, in general the discounts are available to any AARP member - no age required!

I just googled this and found it out!

I was thinking maybe I should start to get a card... and then I got to thinking... and I def will.

I was on team burn and toss! BUT I'm all for the discounts...love me freebies and money off! Here is the kicker... I think I'll start now (I'm 48)... and people will think I look super young for AARP, but I'll be running to the bank! Mwhahahahahah!

I received my first mailing in 2020, right before my 50th birthday. I threw it away. I wasn't ready. Now, I'm absolutely ready. 2022 has beaten me up quite a bit, so I feel very OLD.
