Ya'll Got Me Worried...

Doing a bit of prep work is good but not necessary. Of course, having a few photos and kits ready gives you a starting point, something to check before starting to dive deeper into your photos and digi stash. I like to wing it mostly, but whatever way you go, planning or not planning, MOC is always exciting and creativity hypes up as you get into it.

I'll be doing some photo organizing for some recent photos as well as basic digital supply organization - unzipping new things.

I like having a look through my photos and my supplies because it's at least recently seen and my brain kind of remembers . . . LOL

I’m finding a lot of retired kits, so I’m glad I’m doing this! Nothing like finishing a page and then having retired products in it!!!!

You can still use those retired products as the MOC 2022 Guidelines specify you have to have 75% current TLP Products. That leaves 25% for retired products. :)

Your pages must contain at least 75% current Lilypad product (currently for sale in the store). Please check the store to make sure your product is still for sale before using it. A great way to confirm product is there is if you link your product in your gallery credits.

I do MOC like I do most other things - fly by the seat of my pants haha
I do need to do a quick run through of my stash because I have most definitely had to trash a whole page because I used a retired kit :/

Nope. I don't prepare for MOC. But I also have a regular routine of moving kits from my downloads folder to my TLP folder and organizing my photos with the help of Lightroom throughout the year. I also am happy to scrap anything, so I just let the challenges guide me. I have completed 6 MOCs this way and have loved pretty much every MOC page I've ever made.

I guess you could call my recent purchases in the last week a kind of light prep. I will have a few more items that are current product in the store that I can use on my MOC layouts.

I just did a little bit of preparing in looking at the different subscriptions I have had over the years - Create Crate, Memory Pocket and Mixed Media. They are all in the store so I am aiming to concentrate on using only products from those in my MOC pages when possible.

The only prep I've been doing is making sure all my products are in ACDSee. It helps familiarize me with everything I have.
4 more days!!!!!!!

i Know I technically can, but I don’t want to worry about percentages. Lol

I been away for 4 or 5 years. Unknown if I be able to do all 30. but the learning, and fun here at the pad during moc is great
I am unsure I will complete them all this year as I am not going to stress over any challenge. If one stumps me then I am just going to leave it be. I am not in this to get them all completed. I just enjoy the fun of the challenges and how I sometimes learn a new technique.
I may be away sometime if my daughter and family get the all clear and we can visit them to have our late Christmas with them.

I'm so behind on organizing! I wish I had more time. I might try to focus on that at the end of this week.

Prepping - I think that word rings a bell.... I am THE WORST PROCRASTINATOR hahahahaha!!!!:compcoffee
Seriously I will just wing it and see where the challenges takes me! :fairydance

I went through all my "Visual Order History" but it only gives a fraction of my TLP stash. I've probably got 4 times more than shown, so...there's that! But at least I'm a little organized. Ha ha. I did all the other MOCS without any of this, so not worried. Just waaaaaaaiiiting!!!!!:clappy

The Visual Order History is awesome, but you can also search by designer.

For those who are reading this thread, I've shared the search steps in this thread: How to search for current product in the store by designer

Yep. 100%! I like math, but not typically when I'm scrapping.

There are limitations, like I believe if you buy BYOC special designer bundles I don't think they show up in the Visual Order History? And I know when I tried, it didn't show me retired kits. And of course, retired designers are not there.
