I love all kinds of fries... fat or thin. Well, except for sweet potato fries. That's a no-no for me.
I can't wait til I can eat fries again. I'm going to make my chicken cheese fries which are just potatoes smothered in chicken gravy (broiled about 30 minutes) then put cheese on top and broil for another 10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly.
Fair fries are dynamite... really thin, strings of fries then smothered in vinegar. We used to keep vinegar on the table when I was growing up so I could put it on fries when Mom fixed them, but they just weren't as good as the fair fries. Probably because the home made fries were thicker than the fair fries.
Gah, I really miss eating fries.
