No matter how you say it, birthdays are special times. This month the Lilypad Is celebrating its fourteenth birthday. Yes, fourteen wonderful years of digital magic! And how timely, the annual birthday sale starts tomorrow, January 22. The store will be 30% off all weekend. And it gets even better. There is a fabulous, $15 free-with-purchase kit available too. Has your wish list grown during MOC? Now’s the time to stock up on those awesome kits.

Our MOC day 21 challenge has a specific subject. Right you are; we are making BIRTHDAY-themed layouts. You can celebrate anyone or anything’s birthday. For example, my page celebrates the Lilypad’s birthday.

To complete this challenge

1. Scrap a birthday page
2. Have the word birthday, in any language, incorporated into your layout. You may use fonts, alphas, or word art.
3. Show the age in big numbers or letters-at least 1” by 1.” It can be a number or spelled out. For example, you may use the number 14 or you can spell out fourteen.

Your page may contain photos or be photo-less. You may journal but journaling is not required.

Your page must contain Lilypad product (pages with photos and font only do not count). If you use product from other stores, your pages must contain at least 75% current Lilypad product (currently for sale in the store from either permanent designers or guest designers).

Hmm, I know I have some birthday photos, just don’t know from what year. My family isn’t big on birthday celebrations in general then well in 2020, 4 out of 5 happened while either in national or regional lockdown so no family celebrating happened.

Hey there, it can be a birthday celebration for anything or anyone. How about a patriotic page for New Zealand or the Queen's birthday!?

Love the Challenge! All birthdays were during Covid, but we celebrated Corona-Style. Will be fun!
 
The word "verjaardag" is the Dutch word for "birthday"
Since my previous layout didn't meet the requirements, I changed the number and wrote about my brother in laws' birthday last year. It was the day our country went into lockdown and the restaurants closed. We had to cancel all our plans and wanted to celebrate on a later date. Now, almost a year later, it seems like we are still in the same situation.
