need to go back some pages here, but I wanted to share this from @zakirahzakaria
MY family are from Syria, though they came to North & South America long ago, until I was a teenager, we would speak in Arabic to my grandparents, and I was able to keep a conversation..... but still, to this day, we all use the words....to thank, to congratulate, to say hopefully....to complain, all are Arabic words that stayed with all the family,m even the younger kids use them so this to me has not just the visual beauty, but the magnitude of the word, so powerful in my heart
