I can't do really rich or sweet either. That's why I'm not a huge fan of pecan and peanut butter pie, it's always so rich!

Oh my - "peanut butter anything" tears my stomach up! I wish I could eat it, but it's off limits to me.

July is a weird month for pecan pie. We only ever have it at Thanksgiving.

I do like it but it's not my fave and I can easily pass it up...unless it has some chocolate chips in it and is piled with cool whip.

Not sure I really have a favorite pie. I much prefer a warm brownie and vanilla ice cream.

So Cheryl, talk to me about sweet potato pie. Does it taste like sweet potatoes? I really don't like the flavor of them no matter how they're made, so that's why I've never tried it. (I also don't like anything pumpkin, either.)

key lime is really good!!! i like almost any kind of fruit pie - except strawberry. blueberry is probably my fave. I don't think i've ever had boysenberry - but i'm sure i'd love that. it looks so good.

I didn't read all the posts for fear I would have a pee-KAHN fit!!! (learned that pronunciation from my Texan landlady as a newlywed) This is my absolute absolute favorite, and I'll sometimes even eat a bad one. Otherwise, I'm not much on pies.

R.I.P. Richmond's Ukrop pecan pie. The store closed and my heart was broken.

I often have a hard time distinguishing between pumpkin and sweet potato, the way my mom makes them away. They have the same texture and really the same spices to me . . .

I am a PEE-can pronunciator.
I also hear pah-KAHN.

I do like the pie, but usually only eat the pecan topping/hard part. The middle squishy part makes my texture radar go off.
