I've just saved myself a lot of space and guilt!!

I've finally done it!! I have photographed all the treasured pieces of Jaylen's artwork and compiled them into a book for him. I've done from his very first painting to the end of kinder in this book.

It arrived last night and he was so excited to see it, he had so much fun flicking through the pages seeing his creations in print.

Not only does he get to keep this forever but I get to save space and can throw out most of the original artwork and not feel guilty! yay! :yesss I will keep a few of the 'masterpieces' for him.
 
Oh I love love LOVE this idea!! I especially love that you included photos of him working on the projects. I am totally doing this!!
 
mmmmm i've been wanting to do something like this for so long... love this.
 
OMG that is awesome!! I've been meaning to scrap some but that is a much better idea!

that was my plan originally and I just knew it wasn't going to happen, so I went this way instead.
 
LOVE it! With 3 kids, I have boxes of art work to sort through. I was gonna do something along the sames lines for each of them by year, but I REALLY like the idea of putting it into a bound book. Shutterfly here I come! :giggle
 
This is absolutely fantastic!! I have been meaning to do something similar, or at least scan Ella's art and have it saved that way. I like this.
 
WOW!!! That is AWESOME, Kaye!!! What a super great idea, I'll definitely be doing this once my boys are in school and have 8 billion pieces of artwork, LOL. :) Love it!
 
I've been wanting to do this forever!!!!!!!!! Maybe I should make that my summer project!! LOL Love it!!
 
this is so awesome kaye... i think i have to keep that idea in my mind and start photographing those things from now :giggle
 
This is one of the most awesome things I have ever seen! I am SO doing this for my kids!!
