January 1 - Blind Scrap Challenge

    I loved this challenge.. I'm normally super reliant on templates, so this was a nice step out of my comfort zone.. Thank you!! :heartlub

    1 - photo by me
    2 - doodle frame & stitched frame
    3 - 2 blue ribbons, 1 black/white bow
    4 - papers: wood grain, floral, plaid, grid
    5 - flowers: 2 big yellow, 2 pink, 1 red
    6 - leaves: by all the flowers
    7 - lines of journaling (not including word art)
    8 - 1 paint splatter, 3 scatters (sequins, butterflies, glitter), 1 extra flower (small yellow), 1 word art, 2 word strips

    @mrs2a50 - I hope I got everything correct! I checked and double checked so I'm hoping it's ok. I treated it like a speed scrap and tried to create the base super fast and that seemed to work. Yay! Thanks for a great challenge.

    Here's my list of things:
    1. Photo :-)
    2. White frames behind photo
    3. ribbons: One on left, two overlapped on right bottom side.
    4. papers: background, two rectangles, one arabesque
    5. flowers & 6. leaves are scattered around the background page.
    7. journaling: 6 in text box, 1 for date in label
    8. extra items: star paper strip, 3 buttons, stamp, paint (cactus), date label, word art.

    I ended up reposting mine to fix some things. The items for the recipe are listed in my gallery, but my 8 extra elements are the date, staple, wood globe, title, ink splatter, heart, & string (X2).

    2. distinct frames (this must be two frames, NOT one frame with two openings - CHECK (rectangular and round frames)
    3. ribbon or bows - CHECK
    4. papers, all layered under your photo (the four papers INCLUDES your background paper) - CHECK
    5. flowers - CHECK
    6. leaves and/or branches - CHECK
    7. lines of journaling (if you choose to include a title and/or date, these would count toward your 7 lines of journaling) - CHECK
    8. additional elements of your choice (these must be 8 additional elements not already counted in the elements used above). - CHECK (soccer title, cleats x 2, soccer ball, water bottle, star shape, string, paint stamp)

    Day 1 - Blind Scrap Challenge
    1. one photo centered
    2. two distinct frames (same frame stacked with an angle below the first one)
    3. three ribbons/bows (one yellow bow, one teal bow, and ribbon on the side of the frame)
    4. four papers all under the picture.
    5. five flowers (green flower, yellow flower, light teal flower, teal with white flower, dark cornflower flower)
    6. six leaves and/or branches (leaf repeated 4 times and pine branch repeated 2 times)
    7. lines of journaling (see below)
    8. additional items of choice (flair, journal card, banner, tag, string, glitter, comb matting, stitching [holding the jounral card, ribbon and frame down])

    date: Mount Charleston 30December2018
    journaling:
    When where you live it doesn’t snow, you do the next best thing.
    You go to Vacation where you get to enjoy the snow. We went up on
    Mount Charleston around noon. They had already closed the highway. Daddy was quick thinking. We ended up going off to Kyle Canyon Road so you could still get to enjoy the snow. The snow tipped mountains were beautiful.
