Greetings, MOC Scrappers! Welcome to our EIGHTH edition of my favorite part of the year for scrapping! Sticking with tradition, our first challenge of the event is the Blind Scrap. Using only the instructions I give below, you will "blindly" scrap your page, without a sample page to guide you. Once MOC is over, I will then post my page, and we can see how everyone interpreted the instructions! I love to see everyone's pages as the month progresses, and compare them to what I know my page is! Since this is our 8th MOC, I decided to go with a 1-8 recipe. So without further ado, your instructions:

    Your page should contain:

1 photo, centered on the page
2 distinct frames (this must be two frames, NOT one frame with two openings)
    3 ribbon or bows
4 papers, all layered under your photo (the four papersINCLUDES your background paper)
    5 flowers
    6 leaves and/or branches
7 lines of journaling (if you choose to include a title and/or date, these would count toward your 7 lines of journaling)
8 additional elements of your choice (these must be 8additionalelements not already counted in the elements used above).

    Challenge Rules:

    1. You must create a page using the above instructions. No additional elements or product are allowed except what's listed
    2. You must list out your elements/products you used so that I can easily confirm the recipe

    As with all our challenges:

Your page must be a new page in order to count for the Month of Challenges. Your page must be posted in three places:
    1. Uploaded to the TLP Gallery (not an outside hosting site).
    2. Posted in your page thread you created in the MOC Layouts Folder. You should have one post per completed challenge page. If you complete all 31 challenges, your thread should contain 31 posts. Please do not comment in the participants’ page threads so we can keep them clean.
    3. Posted in this thread. People can comment here if they wish.
Pages should contain at least 75% current Lilypad product (currently for sale in the store from either permanent designers or guest designers).

I hope everyone has a wonderful month playing along with our challenges! Can't wait to see how your pages turn out!

Clarifications or updates to the instructions will be posted here as needed!

"Distinct" frame means two separate frames (not one frame with two openings)

You can use the same product multiple times

You can use a style as one of your elements, but it needs to be listed as such in your element list

Journaling can be seven lines, OR seven sentences

I’m having problems with understanding the word “distinct”. What is a distinct frame?

Two separate frames; not one frame with two openings. You can use the same frame twice, but it needs to be two individual frames

Can a clipping mask/overlay be used to give papers a crumpled look? If yes can and or would that be one of the 8 additional elements?

OH! I didn't realize I could use the same frame twice. I'll go back and delete my question because this answer answers my other question, LOLOL.

Yes. That's fine, and I will let you decide if that's a separate element or not. If it is, please include it in your list of product

Does 7 lines mean the actual lines or does it need to be 7 separate sentences?
    Thank you!! :)

Does one of the frames go on the photo and the second frame on something else?

Can we do that for the 8 elements as well? And in that case, does the element used multiple times count as one element or as 3 elements if it's used 3 times?

OK, I hope I did this right! Kit credits are in the gallery.

    1) Centered photo (the photo is dead center, but my son is off-center in the picture and I placed the frames off-center so it might look off-center)
    2) Frames (tilted over each other)
    3) Bows
    4) Papers – I tried to follow the rules and will gladly change if this doesn't meet your intent for "layered underneath." They are all underneath my photo touching the photo in some way.
    5) Flowers
    6) Leaves
    7) Lines of journaling (top left)

    Additional elements
1, Paintbrush stroke – (bottom right underneath the row of flowers)
    2, “&” circle tag - top left
3, Word art circle - top left
4, You and Me button – “Embrace Life”
    5, 6, and 7 Staples
    8 Confetti spritz
