It must be great to have such a creative daughter,I bet you have a lot of fun together to, making stuff. Enjoy your prom Joy.
Wow! … She is so beautiful with her dress! You may be proud! Enjoy your prom Joy! I'm looking forward to your pages with the making off ...
oh how fabulous .. Joy looks beautiful in her fascinator and the dress she made is really beautiful.. How wonderful!!!! Hope Joy enjoys her Prom!!!
Fabulous!!! Keep up the sewing, Joy. My mom was a seamstress who made clothes for me, my siblings, cousins, my kids, friends, lots of people! I learned how to sew but never went beyond the basics and now kind of regret that because it's such a useful skill. To be able to customize your own clothing means not being limited by what's available in the store.
Thankyou Angela for sharing this special happening with us. The dress is lovely. You must be proud of your daughter.
Sorry to be late, but this is amazing! Congrats Joy @Toucanettes! Bravissima! (that's italian for 'you did really good')
Joy submitted photos of her dress and fascinator, alongside some other projects to a customer feature contest with the Company that designed and made the fabric. As she's under 18, I've just been phoned for parental consent for her photos to be featured on the Facebook Live show this Wednesday. She's a winner.
Fantastic news Angela! Congratulations to Joy!! Does she win a prize? I know the accolades are all that is really needed but if she won something in addition, that would be the icing on the cake!!
