Today is Cow Appreciation Day at Chick Fil A in the US.

Just dress up like a cow and receive a free entree. My girls and I have done this in years past but I don't think we'll go today. I'm not really in the mood to fight the crowds for a free chicken sandwich. Maybe it's because we just had Chick Fil A on Saturday or maybe because Aspen isn't here. Any who... have you ever dressed up like a cow to get a free chicken sandwich? Or have you ever done something like this for a freebie? Inquiring minds want to know...

Oh darn, I wish I had known about this even 20 min earlier. I am, apparently, now allergic to red meat (long story), so CFA seems like a safe place for me to eat lol. (I call myself an "involuntary lacto-ovo vegetarian.") I've never dressed up like a cow for a freebie entree but I'm not above doing it! Heck, I'll even "Moo" if they'd throw in a free lemonade or fries. :giggle

I've never dressed up for free chicken at Chick-fil-A BUT I have dressed up for a date to get food, so it's probably the same thing? Bwahahahaha! Cracking myself up today.

I really don't like crowds, so I would especially avoid today at CFA!

We are not going this year, but here is the 2018 picture. Since they no longer offer full meals for full costume, we just wore ears.

And here is the 2017 picture.

So yes, we have been going for years and years. We also dress up for Talk Like a Pirate for free doughnuts at Krispy Kreme (September 19).

well, this restaurant doesn't exist here, but, I did used green clothing on St Patrick's day to get free beer, so I guess I could dress up for free sandwiches LOL

I've heard of several people who have, but not me. If I liked their chicken, and didn't have to drive 40 minutes to CFA, I probably would! I prefer Zaksby's chicken over theirs. :)
Funny topic!!

LOVE THIS!!!

NO. Not on my radar. Hate crowds. Would rather pay double any other day. (Yes, I am a grump!)

Me and you both!

There are things I'll do for free, but this is not one of them. We actually went yesterday, and considering the crowd on a normal day....I refuse to go anywhere near it today!

Now, 7-11 day? I will be there.

We don't have chik-a-fil or Krispy Kreme, I feel like I am totally missing out.
Probably would avoid the crowds though, home body that I am.

I don't like Chik Fil A much, but for something I want I'd be willing to dress up. Crowds don't always keep me away either. I've lined up for a free donut with my kids a couple of times over the years.

This always sneaks up on me. I did it once when my older kids were little (and there were only 3). I would probably do it again if I could remember...it would depend on the day and if I felt like dealing with a crowd...and felt like dressing all 8 of us up! Haha.

I think it would be fun to do with kids. We have very few CFAs in our area. My friend owns a franchise about 45 minutes away, but there isn't anything close by. We just started getting them a couple years ago. I'm also pretty content to just pay regular price and avoid the crowds and chaos :)
