A lot of noise greeted me this morning here in the Carolinas. I went to the window to see what it was, and was shocked to see thousands of birds in the field across from our house! They were also swarming in the sky above. The drastic changes
nearly every other day from 60's to 30's or below have confused these birdies, I think! :bird:circles:bird

Whenever the weather changes from the norm, it confuses everything - birds, plants, Mother Nature. Interesting video, Amanda.

@AJK Just this afternoon on the way home from picking my son up from school, we saw a huge flock of birds that were swirling around like they were in a tornado. It was so bizarre looking. It's been pretty quiet in the past month with minimal sounds of birds around, but that's changed in the past few days. My mom and I talked about it as well, happening at her place.

We saw bees this morning! I think everything is a little confused!

I've had that happen a time or two in my yard - I really do love it, but I can never help that sense of "oh what if." I guess I can thank Alfred Hitchcock for that :-D

@gonewiththewind Hmmm, are you in the South too?

I can see why you were so surprised! That's a lot of birds!

A few months ago I popped into a store for a few minutes just as it was getting dark. When I came out the parking lot was FILLED with birds. They were wandering around the driveway and sidewalks and perched on cars by the dozens. The cars were having a hard time moving through because the birds didn't seem to care at all and were not about to get out of the way. They had completely taken over. It was kind of spooky.

All this talk of birds... makes me think of the movie "Birds" that others have eluded to.

Wow! That is a lot of birds! I don't think I've ever seen that many together in one place before... and yep... my mind went that that Alfred Hitchcock movie too! They showed that to us one year at band camp and it freaked us all out!
