January 11: Art Journaling-What's on the INside!?!

Hi there- can someone please explain how to not have a background? I am probably overthinking this, but wouldn't we need a white paper or something to put it in our scrapbooks?
Sorry if I'm being dense :)

Bree, did you get an answer on this? If you opened a document with a white background before you started your silhouette, it will be on a white background. It just doesn't show in the gallery. Hope that makes sense. Here's mine that went into the gallery (the first one). The one on the right has a stroke around it to show you it has a white "page" behind it.

Thank you! I figured it out, but wanted to be sure I was doing it correctly!

open your normal page and then bring the silhouette over. Never add a paper to the background and that is it!
so you know, I do a lot of games/challenges thru the year here at the Lily Pad and this is something that happens! HOpe you come play with me !

and caught up to here for love and qualifications for challenge. PMs have been sent to any one not within rules..If you don't have a private message, you are cool! ♥

This is just not a genre I do well, but I sure want to. I am so envious of these beautiful layouts! I tried to convey that I need the same encouragement as I give others, maybe more. Some things are head things, some things are heart things and I need both to stay on an even keel. Image is linked

Oh no, I just discovered the microphone on my phone for leaving comments. So my rambling is real love from my heart from my lips to the paper. All caught up to here. Funny thing is if I saw silhouette too fast My microphone spells cello wet!

I always dread the art journal challenges but I have to admit it's very therapeutic! Thanks for the push with this challenge!

Thank you so much for this awesome challenge! It really pushed me out of my comfort zone and I had a lot of fun with it. I should make this type of layout more often!
