Welcome to Day 21 of our Month of Challenges. Today we are going to use big numbers playfully to present a list in a new way. Your list can be just about anything - it can be journaling, word art, or even photos! The key here is to have the numbers really stand out, using a variety of fonts and/or alphas and perhaps even a variety of colours. And if you stick with fonts, you can even jazz them up by applying custom styles to them (that's what I did!) - we have many amazing styles in our store.

The Rules:
  • Your page must contain a list of numbered items
  • The numbers must be large and stand out (at least 1 inch/2.5 cm tall).
  • Your list must have at least 5 entries.
  • You must use at least 3 different fonts and/or alphas for the numbers (using just all fonts or just all alphas is ok and so is using a mix of fonts and alphas - make sure you credit the fonts and alphas that you use!!).

Here is my page for a little inspiration: I used 4 different fonts (Bookman Old Style, Modern No. 20, Garamond, Quicksand) and applied a style from Mommyish to make them stand out!

And of course, please remember our general MOC rules:
Your page must be a new page in order to count for the Month of Challenges. Your page must be posted in three places:
  1. Uploaded to the TLP Gallery (not an outside hosting site).
  2. Posted in your page thread you created in the MOC Layouts Folder. You should have one post per completed challenge page. If you complete all 31 challenges, your thread should contain 31 posts. Please do not comment in the participants’ page threads so we can keep them clean.
  3. Posted in this thread. People can comment here if they wish.

Pages must contain at least 75% current Lilypad product (currently for sale in the store from either permanent designers or guest designers).

I look forward to seeing your playful lists!

Updates and clarifications to my challenge will be posted here as necessary.

Q: Can 3 different colours from the same alpha pack be used? For example this kind of set.

A: While technically separate alphas, the idea behind the challenge is to use different looking fonts or alphas to journal your list. So I would prefer that you not just use 3 different colours from the same alpha pack.

Q: Do the numbers have to be a sequential list? Or could it be like a '20 hamburgers, 5 kids, 2 days', etc type list?
A: The idea is to have a sequential list.

Please note that numbers should be at least 1 inch (2.5 cm) tall.

So many options here! I'm off to bed now, will think on it overnight and come up with something tomorrow.

Heather, I hope this is what you are looking for. The word "playful" kinda threw me. LOVE making list layouts, and this was a great challenge to work on. Thanks so much!
EDIT: So sorry, had to swap out my layout. My apologies to those who left sweet lovin's. I found out the name of the award was wrong. They spelled it wrong on his certificate. And something as important as this deserves a correct spelling. :yup
