Hey, hey, MOCers!! Is everyone hanging in there? We are past the halfway point, so give yourself a pat on the back and keep the momentum going! I’m so excited to be hosting again this year, and I get to host one of my favorite types of challenge - photography!

One very effective but simple device in photography is the reflection. Looking through the “mirror” of another surface can totally transform an image. You can gain a completely different perspective of the world around you when a puddle or a pair of mirrored sunglasses becomes your looking glass.

Your challenge is to capture a reflection. You can be as creative as your heart desires. It could be boats on the water or simply looking in to a mirror. That’s completely up to you, but we must be able to clearly see a reflection. Some examples of places to find reflections might be:
  • Windows
  • Puddles
  • Lakes or rivers
  • Chrome on a car
  • Sunglasses
  • Shiny countertops
  • Computer or tv screens
  • Actual mirrors
Here are some images that might inspire you

And here is my reflection page:

Challenge Requirements:
1. This is a photography challenge, so your page must include at least one photo. You may add more photos, but one of them must clearly show a reflection.
2. You must include scrap product on your page; it cannot be just a photo.
3. Your photo can be old or new.
4. Have fun!

General Requirements:
Your page must be a new page in order to count for the Month of Challenges. Your page must be posted in three places:
  1. Uploaded to the TLP Gallery (not an outside hosting site).
  2. Posted in your page thread you created in the MOC Layouts Folder. You should have one post per completed challenge page. If you complete all 31 challenges, your thread should contain 31 posts. Please do not comment in the participants’ page threads so we can keep them clean.
  3. Posted in this thread. People can comment here if they wish.
Pages must contain at least 75% current Lilypad product (currently for sale in the store from either permanent designers or guest designers).

Updates and clarifications to the guidelines will be posted here as needed :)

Just to reiterate for clarity:
You can use an older photo, it does not have to be new
You can have more than one photo, as long as one clearly shows a reflection
