We got a wedding invite for the son of a family friend. When I met him he was like 9 years old. And the scary thing is, I know this is just the beginning.

I am not old enough for him to get married.

Yeah, kids I taught in high school are all getting married and having babies. Who the heck gave them permission to do that?
 
Try having a nephew whose wife just had their second baby. Now that is old! LOL
 
ummmm I just found out that the 10 year old son of a former boss is graduating from high school and joining the NAVY.... I said to my old boss " I knew your son was smart... but wow, to graduate at 10... but hey wait! I didn't think the Navy would accept children!" took him a second to get it

Oh gees, this happens to me more often than I care to admit. It always manages to make me feel ancient.

Hubby came home the other day complaining because he had just gotten a new group of recruits in his unit that were born the year he joined the military. Which in turn made me feel old because he's younger than I am. Sigh. I'm afraid this is just the beginning.
